I have actually remembered a lot from flashbacks and nightmares. I’m not sure how much of what I remember is true, as I don’t trust my brain as much as I should anymore, but I can say I remember some of those 16 years.

  I am not surprised. Many of my companions also suffer amnesia; I do, as well. I don't believe it's quite as severe as yours seems to be, however.
