Remember that you must allow people to love you, to be kind to you, to help you. Not everyone is going to be toxic for you, some people just genuinely want to be a part of your life, but you to feel all this love coming your way, you have to believe you deserve it. Let people love you. Let them look out for you, care for you, don't push them away. Let them stay.

Try not to take other peoples reactions personally. You never know what a person is experiencing that changes their perception. Their apathy, disinterest, nit picking, etc. is more about them than it is you. Take a deep breathe and try to move past it.

friendly reminder that you're allowed to need people, in fact everyone needs people. needing the company of others does not make you weak. spending time with other people is how we learn and grow.

What matters is that you still have love to give, and you desperately want to give it to someone and you’re afraid that it makes you vulnerable and people may not want it because you will be seen as weak. But that love in you wants to burst out the more you try to keep it locked in, and the bigger it gets, the more afraid you are of looking desperate. But you must find people who want that love, who won’t find you desperate, who won’t find it weak, who will see the kind of love you have to offer as a gift. And even though you’re afraid, you have to give out that love. Even if your hands shake. Because other people will be offering their love back, and their hands will be shaking too, because they are just as scared of loneliness as you.
