Since I’ve been flying about, I’ve been catching up on some podcasts – and I recently skimmed one discussing icebreaker questions. And seeing as I’ve been dreadful at keeping up with everyone’s understandably busy and interesting lives, I figured they’d be useful. So, first question! Ahem. If you had to hold a twenty minute presentation on a singular topic right now – one that isn’t related to your job and without any preparation, what would that topic be? It could be very real, like a hobby or a sports team you like, or something wildly uncommon? @hfrpstarters​

You’re like Houdini, there one moment then gone the next off to another place. You travel more than I do. First one? Oh my, wonder what else you’re gonna throw at me. As outgoing as I am I never liked giving presentations, they make me nervous for some reason. Right now I’m hungry, it’s all I can think of, so I could make a very passionate presentation on food. About the best food places in LA and what to order.

haha thank you nina! a baby girl would be super cute too. i would want to protect her from everything and anything. not to mention she would look exactly like nikki which would be really cute. kevin thinks it’s a boy, alena and valentina are saying it’s a girl because they want a girl cousin. she’s doing great, you know dealing with morning sickness and all that.

That’s a very great mission and I’m sure that people would thank you later because you are going to change their lives forever. What are you going to drag me into? Same here, everytime I get injured, I’m the only one I can blame for it. Guess it is what happens when you’re clumsy. We should start a club. The show is called Shadow and Bone and it’s based on Leigh Bardugo’s books. I don’t know if you’ve read them but it’s basically a world with people who got magical powers and others who don’t and they’re all threatened by a massive barrier of darkness. I will, promise!

So far no complaints, not unless ‘you’re crazy Nina’ is one. Good question. Well I would have dragged you skydiving with me, but I just did that not too long ago, got the itch out of the way, although you can never go skydiving too many times. I’d do it again a dozen more times. Wanna be Nascar racers for a day? We should! You and I should be co-presidents. What should we call it? I’m actually in the process of reading one of Leigh Bardugo’s book. That sounds really interesting. I might read it before it comes out.

Jay: My amazing, smart godchildren wanted more mommy time and figured they had to do something to get to that point. I'm gonna have to give them a huge prize for being such brilliant kiddos. How are they doing, by the way? How are /you/ doing? I had asked Paul but I don't think he ever answered me. Or maybe I missed the reply, who knows anymore.

Jay: Separate plans? Why is that? That's good to hear, though! I'm glad that the holidays were well for y'all. I did, yes. The kids and I actually went to NY for the holidays to spend with her. It was a lot of fun. Seeing her after a while always makes it even better, you know?

Nina: I gotta agree, even if it was at my expense. I’m good, getting back into the grind, keeping busy. You know how he gets, he‘s easily distracted, or could be that he forgot. He’s an old man. 😝 I’m sure he’ll answer eventually.

It is so don’t worry, I’ve already forgotten about it! People shouldn’t be afraid to try new things because that’s how we grow up and sometimes we meet some awesome people on the way. Looks like I’m not the only one who gets injured easily! Oh no, it’s something different– it’s a fantasy show. Which kinda brings me back to my Narnia roots, even if this project is different. Yeah? Hey, perhaps you could get a role if they ever get another season!

Me too, wiped from memory. Whoosh. So true. I’m making it my mission to get more people to get out of their comfort zones this year. Maybe you could be the first person that I drag into doing something new this year. That does make me feel a little better at myself that we share in this mutual pain, although my injuries tend to result from my general clumsiness. What kinda fantasy? Are you allowed to say? I’m crossing my fingers. Can you put in a good word for me?

Nina! Oh my God, I loved your gifts. All of it is amazing. I gotta say the wall art is my favorite out of everything. Literally everyone knows how much I love Beyoncé, it’s not even a secret. That line resonates with me so deep. I’ve been living by it since Formation dropped. Not to get super emotional, but it really is a reminder I need sometimes. Thank you so much. I’m obsessed with the boots and that lip shade. And that jacket! Catch me wearing it at my next business meeting. Trust I will definitely be using that bath bomb real soon too. Please tell Teegan I love her and the extra sprinkles on my cake in a mug. She totally gets me. @ninadoebrev​

jay: Where are you hiding, Neens? After the last time that we talked you disappeared. It was kinda like I had a bad smell or something. I promise I shower every day.

jay: How are my godchildren? Did they have a great Christmas? Did you and Paul? I'd ask him but he's weird and would just make jokes about it.

Nina: I have a good reason, I swear! So those conspiring godchildren of yours decided it would be funny to hide my phone from me. Battery died, went over a week without it and just found it again. It was kind of a blessing it a way since it gave me a chance to stay off the phone and social media for a while and just focus on family. So it's not you, it's me, promise.

Jared: Nina. Nina. Nina. 😜

Jared: Do y'all not love me? 😭 Wow! I feel SO UNLOVED by you two! 💔
