I had just gotten into homestuck few months prior

I had found my passion in expressing myself through art again

it kept me sane

I had my abuser forced back into my life 🔥 feared sleeping-I was in constant survival mode

I had gained the confidence to seek help and report him. My teacher and the school therapist supported me in my journey whilst my peers had no idea of what was going on.

It had ended terribly.

I missed out on school staying at the police station. The next day my friend had asked where I had been. I had never talked about it prior to that day to anyone my age, for the first time i allowed myself to be vulnerable again despite the broken trust i had experienced the day before.

I had cried in front of a friend for the first time since being under the age of 9.
