Finished a second pair of cargo pants for Brian~ These pockets have a gusset for extra room. Also since my serger broke, I used a cotton twill tape on several edges to finish them where it worked better than a french seam.
Now I'm going to make a couple of items for meee~
Made a new handkerchief skirt for summer~
The waistband only has elastic on the back so that the front is smooth and looks more polished. I also studded the pockets for fun, and am looking forward to wearing it out.
I'm trying to do some nice, simple projects for a bit.
Made some cotton canvas cargo pants for the husbando~
He wanted cargo pants in cotton, but 98% of retail offerings are made of nylon, so it was time to make them myself! I haven't installed a zipper in over 10 years so it was a good skills refresher project.
I have completed the Frankenstein nightgown!
Getting ready to ship it out soon, but I'm not gonna wanna work with chiffon for a good long while after this lol.

Working on Elizabeth's nightgown from the Frankenstein movie~
It's been over a decade since I last worked with chiffon so it is all taking much longer than I expected because the fabric is so slippery and delicate. But stabilizers are helping tremendously, especially with the small hems.
Built the second part over the past week and now the entire dungeon is complete! For the inner half, I added doors that open and close, and the final boss room needed a deeper floor so both areas got elevated by an inch.
I'm pretty happy with my first dungeon build~ It takes up the entirety of my dining table, and has helped enhance my friends' first DnD campaign.
As a surprise, I built out a part of the dungeon that we're currently exploring in our DnD game!
We are in a ruined old monastery that is super overgrown and now is filled with giant hives and monster bees. We're just trying to steal the honey, but there's some bee smashing along the way.
I love that no matter how much I mature and grow with my crafting techniques, you never fully move on from foam and hot glue.
The miniature of my guy is printed from Hero Forge!
Hades 2 nail art inspired by Selene~
This was a more productive year for me down in my craft room so I kind of wanted to show off a bit because I was feeling a little proud of myself. Got a lot more sewing done this year!
I know some people probably expected the elephant quilt as the spotlight, but making my brother-in-law's suit was the hardest project this year and the one that taught me the most so it's the one I'm most proud of.

I have finished crocheting a little costasiella kuroshimae sea slug for a friend!
After doing a lot of sewing this year I wanted to get back to crocheting for a bit while slightly splurging on nicer yarn too. The shapes are simple, it's just a lottttt of leaves lol.
My last sewing project of the year!
Shirt dress with asymmetrical collar and cape~ I needed to make something practical that I would wear more often before I make some of the more impractical projects I want to make next.
I invested in a proper dress form and now I'll be unstoppable.
I've finished my Lucille Sharpe inspire nightgown in time for my Halloween party~
I'm wearing it with a corset for the day because I haven't made the dressing gown portion of it. Still debating whether to make it out of velvet or silk.
So last night at midnight, some odd spirit possessed me and said I needed to make a black version of Lucille's nightgown from Crimson Peak immediately.
I don't even have a pattern but I have a lot of cotton voile, and so um... this is what I've done in the past 12 hours (yes, I did sleep).
The sleeves require so much gathering it's almost incredible I can get it condensed enough for a cuff. Bless the thinness of voile fabric.
These are the most time consuming sleeves just because of having to gather the shoulders and the wrist so much, but at least I don't have to do any easing. I only have one sleeve left to go!!!

Nyx themed nails from Hades~
The gems should be teardrop shaped but it's hard to find them that small. Who should I do next?
