She hesitantly takes it from his hands, her lips pressed together. Then she takes a small bite of the Dango. "Hmm..." She gives an approving hum.

"Huh.. What's wrong? Don't like dango?"

"Uh... I would prefer..." She's tentative to bring it up, "those not skewered by your stinky fire." She looks down at her shoes. There's no polite way of putting it... Well, he's not going to share now...

"Anyone want a snack?"

She scrunches her nose…

"Oh can you? That's pretty interesting. You gonna use your Quirk to defend yourself? Or are you stalling.. Waiting till a hero can save you" Dabi took a step closer.

Technically a sidekick, but that wasn't his business.

Unbeknownst to him, Mode had hired her to keep on eye on her father so he wouldn’t get himself in trouble, like he often did.

"Erm…" She found herself standing in front of him, and it was such an awkward situation to be in. It was her first time being someone's bodyguard. She didn't even know Mode that well but found herself agreeing to her demands. She quickly bowed. "My name's Amano Isozaki, Mister Izanagi. Hero name Tero." Amano straightened up, her hands down, placed in front of her, and clasped together. "I promise I won't let you down, sir."

" are you not fucking awake yet ... " inches away from their face in hopes to scare the living shit out of them. especially when he was already ready for their outing. hating to wait, the words practically grinded against his teeth.

Eyes snap open at the sudden sound. There's a sharp inhale. She almost screamed. She had been up all night because of nightmares again. She wants to punch the sight out of his left eye, make it match with his right. She doesn't remember their plans. Sleep's important right now. She turns her head to the other side and closes her eyes.

He didn't just mean it, he fully believed in his capacity to save the people stuck here. Fighting and flying and Heroics were his bread and butter. As long as he put his mind to it, nothing was impossible. Noting that his palms might be sweaty to the touch, he quickly wiped them off against his pants before offering one to Amano. "You wanna head down there with me? Bet it's safer down there than up here right now."

Despite the continuous rapid thud in her chest, a pale and timid hand extends to take his. She swallowed, and her body began to loosen up, becoming less stiff. She would trust him—and herself—to make it off this ridiculous Ferris wheel. "How will we get down? My quirk is useless here."

"Or maybe I'm wrong about you. You don't need to be scared.. Cause you're tough, right?"

She was scared, but exhaustion was the dominant feeling. If he had found her during the day, it would have been a different story. She wasn't tough but — "I can take you." His talk about thrill and fear, she had the perfect quirk for that.

“Can I help you with anything else today, hero?”

"So.. Just what brings a little thing like you out here? It's dangerous this late.." Dabi stepped out from the shadows where he had been lurking.

An overflowing pile of paperwork, a domineering boss, unpaid overtime… just the newest recruit things. It's how he found her at this hour. Of course, she's not going to tell him that. Her dead mismatched eyes are answer enough.
