Hi everyone!

November is coming so I guess it’s time to give you some news :) I don’t know if any of you are up for taking part in this event again. It would make me very happy if it could happen this year too but since we’re a small fandom, the number of participants is hard to predict.

However, if it does happen again, I’d rather not be the one in charge this time. Last year, a lot of personal things happened at this period so I managed it very poorly (also my internet died every time I needed to reach people, how great) and I don’t think I’ll have the energy to take care of it again.

So if someone feels like taking over, please let me know over here or at my main blog, @shinobimeme. If you don’t feel like doing it by yourself, I understand completely and I’d be happy to help. I just don’t want to be the one fully in charge of things. Thanks.

(that’s said, this will only happen if more than two people are willing to participate in the gift exchange so transfer of leadership might not even be needed ahah)

Shinobi & Snowballs | Nightshade Secret Santa fic

Season’s greetings, @kazama-hime! I’m your @nightshadesecretsanta (secret shinobi?). :D

I received word that you like the Koga group, so I wrote you a cute fic featuring them. I hope you like it. <3

Enju woke up to the realization that it was cold. Very cold.

Her second realization was that she could hear voices.

Her third realization was that the voices were calling her name.

“Enju! Wake up already!”

She sat up in bed, rubbing her eyes. That was Ennosuke, brimming with enthusiasm even this early in the morning.

“Enju-nee-sama, it snowed last night! Come see!”

Kasumi’s sweet voice rang with excitement; at that, Enju smiled and rose to get dressed.

“Hurry up, sleepyhead. Unless you want us to bring the snow to you.”

Even Kyara sounded excited, her usual affected tone of poise and maturity nowhere to be heard.

Enju had been in no particular rush to put on her clothes, but then she paused.

Kyara really might bring in some snow if I take too long. And Ennosuke would help dump it on my head to wake me up…

At that thought, she finished dressing in a hurry and ran outdoors. Her friends were already frolicking in the snow. Crisp and pure white, it transformed the entire village and barren trees surrounding it into something magical.

She smiled in delight at the scene, and Ennosuke grinned back as he noticed she’d arrived.

“Finally! You sure took your time.”

“Enju-nee-sama, look!” Kasumi waved to get her attention and proudly pointed at a couple of snow sculptures. “This one is you, and that’s me… I still need to do Enn-nii and Kyara-nee and Gekka-nii and—”

Then Enju heard a familiar voice from behind her. “Enju-sama, it’s too cold out. Please take this.”

Speak of the devil.

I was so surprised to get you and when I found out you love my two beautiful idiots, Hanzo and Chojiro, I got all conflict on who’s gonna be the main guy. xD. So this is a Wizardry AU with Enju’s POV because I was listening to Mahou no Kizuna by Growth and I was like maybe this could be a good fic, added a few of Harry Potter spells and translated to Japanese lol. It’s a long fanfic so I hope you enjoy reading it. (/^o^)/ (I advise you if you could listen to the song while reading this for better reading experience hehe.)

Hi @absolutelyabsolem, I’m your Nightshade Secret Santa~! I freaked out when I was given your name and it was hard to not talk about this to you in Discord because HANZOOO but I managed! I took your royalty!Enju/Bodyguard!Hanzo idea and went with it (how could I not, I’m a sucker for that!). But, it borrows some rules from England but also has a twist of my own. The names are locations are the same and it’s purely Hanzo/Enju as requested.
