The Soft Food Diet continues! And candied yams are more than suitable for the King's sweet tooth.

Lucifer laughed as he walked outside with Charlie, raising a brow at Alastor's umbrella. Then he noticed the hearts surrounding the demon. Well, if Alastor was going to be a menace and reject affection from every little thing, he was going to be a menace and give him some, Lucifer-style.

"Dad...?" Charlie watched as Lucifer bent down and picked up a mound of dirt, and slowly his magic interlaced it and shifted it to be a golden heart, one that pulsed with his magic and energy.

"HEY BELLHOP!" Lucifer called out.

Alastor's ears twitched up and he narrowed his eyes. "What is it that you want, Sire?"

Lucifer drew back, and launched the golden heart directly at Alastor. It hit its mark with record speed, knocking the deer demon onto his behind.

Lucifer smirked. "Happy Valentine's Day, Bambi." He disappeared through a portal, and Charlie huffed.

"Dad! That was uncalled for!" She quickly followed him, leaving Alastor behind.

Alastor who was clutching his heart.

Who felt it clenching for the first time in a long time.

Who could not believe what just happened to him. He fidgeted.
