Tay, your music has always spoken to me, like a portal to self-reflection and expression. During your debut and earlier albums, I was recovering from being severely bullied and trauma. Change, Invisible, A Place In This World, Tied Together With A Smile, and more, helped me feel seen and hopeful during a time in my life when I felt invisible, discardable and hopeless. I can’t ever ever ever thank you enough for that and helping me overcome my darkest times. I love that your discography has songs for the entire emotional spectrum. It doesn’t matter my mood — I can always find a Taylor Swift bop to jam to. I’ve been fortunate to attend the Fearless, Red, and Reputation concerts, and I can’t wait to see you again whenever this pandemic ends at LoverFest East (Night 1, A8 Row 43, Seat 5-6).
tbh, being a swiftie means being in a constant state of overwhelming pride.
