Finally made it back home to Chiangmai after quite an ordeal.... now I have started my 14 day quarantine at our house in Chiang Mai. All alone, though my wife will bring me food every day. I’m determined to make the most of it this quarantine. In fact, I’m going to call it my 14 day retreat. These are strange times, but we don’t have to suffer through them more than necessary. Let’s work together to kick this Covid-19’s ass as quickly as possible by following safety protocols. And while we are at home, let’s try to look at the silver lining. It’s a great opportunity to learn something new. On that note, I’m going to start sharing my own experience of being quarantined (and I would love for it to become a conversation!) and also offering free drawing and language lessons via Instagram. I’d like to share with you the the joy of drawing which is one of the best ways to rediscover The amazing in the taken for granted and mundane. I’m not saying I won’t go stir crazy, and I hope I’m not talking out of my ass. But at least I’m going to try.
