Nico in Blood Gala attire :)
(shortening the thingy because mmm long. Resuming from here.)
@nico-chance-hellraiser
Jed gives a sharp cackle. Heâs loving the weakness coming from Nicoâs lungs, oh this poor, poor survivor. This little newb of a runner. Heâs gonna learn fast, faster than he managed to piss the killer off. It would be an impressive thing to watch, as Jed had lost patience with this one as soon as heâd started a chase.
âChrist, blazer! Well, please by all means, allow me to teach you a thing or two. Class is in session for you, knife-block.â Heâs too giddy, hyped up by rage and adrenaline and god damn it does he want to see this kid cry. To just bawl in pain, to thrash and kick and scream for mercy. This is going to be way too much fun, and Jedâs loving it.Â
Shifting to pin Nico down was easy, though unfortunately theyâre on a bit of a time limit. Survivors can only bleed for so long before the Entity gets impatient and whisks them away. Party-crashing prick. The knife is pressed just under the boyâs right eye, Jedâs free hand grips his jaw effortlessly, âNormally I like to play a game with my toys, but only when theyâve earned it.â He pauses, chuckling with deadly intent, âYouâve earned jack shit. Youâre lucky Iâm even willing to help you out. You owe me big time after this lesson, blazer.âÂ
Hm, what kind of mark should this one get? An X? A frowny face? No, thatâs too similar to one of his favorites. Nico is most certainly not Jedâs favorite. Oh! Heâs figured it out. How about just a big, nasty hole in his face? That sounds perfect.
With a flick of his wrist, Jed fixes his hold on the blade, pointing it tip down over Nicoâs cheek. No care is shown or given, the knife simply pushes down, then twists. Ugh, this guysâ blood probably isnât even sweet. Thereâs no way heâs trying it. He doesnât even wanna know.
Nico gave an ear-piercing shriek as the knife did its deed. Finally, the tears that were welling up fell, as if that was the switch needed to flip for it to happen. Then, he started to struggle, even though it was far too late. One of his hands tried to fly to Jedâs wrist to push the knife out of his face, shaking. Unfortunately by then, most of his strength had depleted, making it futile, and probably just annoying the man further than helping him. Even worse case would be the pain itâd bring if the knife moved around more.
He tried to voice a reply to the part where he owed him big time, but nothing seemed to want to form despite the racing thoughts in his mind. Well, he guessed the only thing that was through his mind was âholy shit, I canât escape, Iâm dyingâ and âI FUCKING HATE THIS GAME I HATE IT SO FUCKING MUCH DO IT DO IT LET ME DIEâ. Except death was never an escape, and the contrast of the thoughts meant he still had a damned shard of hope somewhere.
He only stared up at the killer in his crying, fearful state, gasping back sobs, trying to tighten his grip, anything.
So he may have gotten carried away. Jed practically crushed the boyâs jaw, the knife yanked downward to Nicoâs cheek to pierce through the flesh and into his mouth, stabbing his tongue on accident. A happy accident. How could you blame Jed for getting brutal? Nico hadnât even tried to stuff the screaming, he let it all belt out instantly. Screaming and crying, weakly grabbing at the killerâs wrist.Â
Needless to say, Jedâs satisfaction is immense. Once this little prick is dead, heâd be in the best mood heâd been in years.Â
âTry not to choke. Blood tends to do that to people.â The killer helpfully suggested, unnervingly happy about the situation.Â
He leaned back a bit, tilting his head in pondering as to what to do next. Oh! Threat of mori, that was always fun. The other survivors seemed highly disturbed by Jedâs mori, two of them in particular absolutely despised it. Will this one feel the same? Only one way to find out.
The knife is roughly yanked out, then moved to hover over Nicoâs right eye. Itâs just barely half an inch away from the boyâs blue eye. He would chance getting closer, but the survivor is flailing too much. He might hurt himself.
His scream only became more intense as the injuries piled up, but the blood didnât help - as the killer had hinted, and he started to cough. His throat was also sore, so that didnât help but encourage it. His scream would eventually weaken, sort of sounding like it was crackling from all the noise he was making, going into mostly coughs and small sounds of panic.
A pang of nausea hit him from the sheer amount of blood. He coughed, but at the same time tried his best to swallow and not die in a very, very gross way. Itâs what the killer would probably want, he thought, even as his stomach turned. Then the knife moved towards his eye. Oh God. Oh God no.
He put his other hand on the killerâs wrist and tried to push upwards, even as his breathing weakened. Even if it did anything, it would probably be such a small amount - why was he even fighting if he knew it was futile? Did he want to bleed out instead of letting this man have his fun game done? Thereâs no Collapse, but if he just became a limp corpse before he could - diseye him, or whatever he was planning.
A small gag escaped him, but he immediately tried to swallow, a cough usurping his effort. Nothing was out yet, but⌠He hated this. He definitely found a killer he hated, being this new into existing. âFuck⌠you,â he managed to weakly say at last.
Famous last words. Though, he wasnât ending this so quickly. Jed is still fuming, still needing pain. He pulls the knife away from Nicoâs eye, going down to aim the blade between two ribs on the survivorâs right side.Â
The killer suddenly starts cackling softly, âConsider this a slight example of how much youâve been a thorn in my side.â With that, he digs his blade in. Stabbing through clothes is tough, so a good amount of effort is put into getting down to flesh. Once the tip pierces, Jed shoves in. Itâs not close to the heart or lungs, angling downward to avoid them. He keeps the knife still, looking the boy in the eyes.
âNow, what have we learned? Never, ever, run me or any killer around a goddamn pallet. Theyâll mori you, and theyâll really mean it. Never taunt us, âcause theyâll mori you- and mean it. Lastly, Never Strike, why?â He asks a rhetorical question, twisting the blade within Nicoâs flesh, âBecause we will mori for it.â Jedâs tone is punctual and violent. He will mori this boy as an act of mercy. Not yet, though, not yet. Heâs not done with his lesson yet.Â
âRepeat it. Repeat the lesson exactly.â Itâs a command, it came with more pain. This will just last longer if he gets it wrong.
He screamed again, before it died and mixed with the coughs and sobs. He thought he hadnât felt this much pain before in his entire life. All because of some damned paranoia, he was here. Though if he was here, it wasnât exactly paranoia, was it? Something had been watching, but heâd poked it with a stick and maybe thatâs really why.
He coughed again, trying not to swallow his own blood, the only thing he could really hear being his own pain and the killerâs voice, like some sort of twisted angel of death coming to collect his goddamn soul, and ordering him.
âDonât fuckin... donât run killers around pallets... cause Iâll be moried...â his voice scratched, and he shakily inhaled, before coughing again, âNever taunt... because Iâll be moried... and never strike, because Iâll be moried.â He grunts and hopes that itâs close enough. God, if it was word for word, heâd rather the Entity let him bleed out. Come on, come on, why canât I just bleed out...

@nico-chance-hellraiser
Trying to suppress a red rage was incredibly difficult, not to mention the fact that there happened to be a new survivor to the fog. New survivors always thought themselves hot shit, apparently. This one in particular was especially irritating, and had gotten Jedâs blood boiling right from the start of the Trial.Â
Moriâing the others didnât do much to sate the godawful bloodlust that he felt, it actually made it worse. Heâd killed the others an infinite number of times, he wanted this one to die. He wanted to kill this one very slowly, just to teach him a lesson on how this world works. Maybe mark him up a bit before he goes. Nothing like a good, degrading title to remind you how utterly weak you are.Â
The grip Jed had on his knife was painful, he was keeping himself angry, obsessing over just how horrid the new guy was.
Soon, he thought, Soon enough, Iâll make you wish youâd stayed down the first time I got you.
Shit shit shit, Nico thought, looking frantically for gens - or the Hatch, whatever appeared first. The slight lights of a generator attracted him towards it. âWhatever. My teammates being dead wonât stop me, right?â he mumbled as he started to work on the generator.
As he did so, crossing wires and getting parts to work - trying his best - he tried to look over his shoulders, feel anything approaching him. The guy he was against heâd never seen before, and wasnât exactly keen on seeing him again. He wanted out, even after heâd taunted him at pallets and tried to make his life hell. Thereâs just 2 gens left, and if I can get them done, weâll be golden⌠or, Iâll be, since my teammates were obviously killed.
His fingers almost slipped away as he thought so, snapping his attention back to the cruel reality he was stuck in for the time being, slightly shaking. Damn it, damn it, youâre gonna get out of this!
Just two generators left, which means the new survivor might get the notion that he can get out of this alive. Jed would make sure that didnât happen, as this bastard didnât deserve it. The newb didnât deserve anything other than cold metal relieving his organs from the confinement of flesh. To pop his eyes right out of each socket and watch them dangle as he choked on blood. Hundreds of ideas popped into Jedâs head, making him grin wickedly behind the mask.
Until he eventually made it to a generator. Doing a quick spin around it revealed that there was nobody here. More rage wiped the grin off his face instantly. Damn it, god fucking damn it. He kicked the generator, decreasing any progress made on it. If the new survivor had made Jedâs life hell, he was gonna do it right back.
There was only one other gen, the survivor had to be there. If not, he was hiding. A poor choice, as heâd seen survivors solo two gens and escape plenty of times, although they werenât cursed with the wrath of Ghostface.
Crouched with his knife raised, he crept to the red highlight he saw in the near distance. A flutter of twisted glee was felt in his chest, the sounds of someone fiddling with machinery was music to his ears. Soon the brat came into view, his back turned on the killer.
Perfect.
âCome on, get done faster, you stupid fucking generatorâŚâ he hissed at the generator as his fingers worked on the thing, giving it life. Steadying his breathing and focus, he looked around the body of it for other openings needing repair. Hope heâs searching for the Hatch, I really hope heâs like, near the Hatch right now. Just let me escape.
He didnât feel watched, didnât feel in immediate danger. What he felt was a glimmer of hope as it continued to work. Enough to slightly hum to himself a tune while working on the gen, hoping itâd be masked by his own progress.
His fingers caught on a task and the gen exploded, and he shielded himself from it. âShit-â he muttered, which broke his trance - and tune. He just hoped it wasnât too late - that he wouldnât be able to instantly spot and chase him - he was frozen in fear, no matter what raced in his mind that moment.
Watching as the generator exploded in the survivors face was like snorting a line of coke, the rage stood side by side with unreasonable joy. Jed crept closer, closer⌠Just a bit closer. A gloved hand reached out to grab the survivors shoulder, his grip harsh and meant to hurt.Â
âTough break, blazer.â He taunted as he hoisted the boy over his shoulder. Taking a quick scan around, he noticed the big gates of the exit gate not too far from where they were. Perfect, just perfect. Absolutely stunning, those gates had never made him more happy.Â
Heâs feeling extra cruel today, and thereâs nothing like a little bit of torture at the end of Trials. This oneâs earned it, though opening the gates would start the endgame collapse. Jed wanted time with this one, hours maybe. He wanted to inspect every inch of bone that lay within irritating flesh. Too bad all the others were dead, heâd parade the survivor around to let the others see just how weak he really was.Â
Hauling the nuisance to the gate wasnât much of an issue, a grim cackle was let out as he dropped the last of the knife fodder right in front of those dooming metal doors. They were closed, but that mattered not. The gate still symbolized freedom, even if it was closed. There still lied the possibility of hope, which was soon to be rung out dry from the boy.
What even was this oneâs name?
âYou mind telling me your name?â Jed lightly kicked the newb in the ribs as he asked, encouraging cooperation.
Nico yelled as he was pulled over the killerâs shoulder. Even though he tried to struggle, he knew that it was basically useless. âGet your hands off of me!â He exclaimed while trying to wriggle free. Eventually he realized theyâd headed to the Exit Gates, and the drop made him oof a bit because of the somewhat rough let-down killers seemed to have.
He looked up at the Exit Gates before he felt a slight pain on his chest, registering as a light kick. He tried to remember the face of this Killer, anything, so that the next time - God, I hope there isnât a next time - he encountered him, heâd know what killer it is. Heâd heard the name âGhostfaceâ or whatever whispered by the survivors.
âNico,â he hissed. âNow what? You gonna let me out?â his voice slightly quivered on the question. âWeâre right here. Nice of you to bring me, actually.â He wasnât sure where the confidence to try to fuck with a killer again came up, when he was, well, going to eventually die. Unless he was nice. Not like heâs been nice.
Jesus, Jed didnât expect the hope to show itself so fast. Nor did he really expect the new survivor - Nico- to actually respond with his name. A dark chuckle escapes him, he wedges the toe of his boot under the survivorâs chest to flip him over on his back, âNico. Man, you even sound like a pain in the ass.âÂ
Stepping closer, Jed puts his heel on Nicoâs throat, slowly applying some pressure with each passing second. Watching these people flounder and flail was always a hoot, just an absolute treat. He hums a dark, amused hum, âYou want me to let you out? Hm, well, thatâs funny- Because I totally thought you really, really wanted me to skin you alive. I mean, youâve gotta earn my mercy, blazer. You literally could not have pissed me off more. Iâve been so patient, I got rid of your friends, just so I had some playtime with you.âÂ
The pressure is let off, the foot is removed. Heâs kneeling next to Nico now, the tip of his knife teasing the skin of his face, âMaybe I can better prepare you for the future, teach you a lesson or two about what the role of ârunnerâ entails. Us killers really arenât too fond of it, you know.âÂ
God, fuck, Jed wants blood. Blood everywhere, so badly does he want to rip this little prick apart. Make it worse than a sacrifice. To make this âNicoâ kid wish he was dead.
âGhck-â The pressure finally made a panic response well up in Nico. Words tried to form in his mouth, but all that came out were some sounds resembling mice - or, well, someone not being too good at breathing. Well, now he was breathing heavily and wide-eyed, after the pressure was alleviated. He started to shake a bit as the ghost of a touch of what definitely was a very sharp knife capable of making him bleed out then and there was on his face.
âOf- of course youâre not fond-â he whimpered. He wanted to back up, run, something, but apparently fight or flight picked freeze this round. âI- Itâs just what Iâm good at doing. I donât still fffucking understand the roles or whatever.â His voice cracked, and he realized his vision was blurring.
No. No tears. Youâre a strong, independent survivor. You can get out of this. You hope you can - no, you will get out of this. Nico, Nico, Nico. No cry. Your parents didnât like when you cried either, donât do it in front of a killer and give up.

Perfect.
âCome on, get done faster, you stupid fucking generator...â he hissed at the generator as his fingers worked on the thing, giving it life.

Nico wasnât sure where heâd wandered off to. His head was foggy with the feeling of a recent Hook death. All that he could make out in his head was the thought âI feel like staticâ. As the surroundings muddled together, he could slightly make out... a someone, in the distance. Dimmed eyes looked up at whoever the hell heâd stumbled upon.
âHey... donât think Iâve seen you around the... Campfire. Maybe...â his voice droned. âMaybe we could be friends... or some...thing.â He seemed to rummage around in his pockets for something, only to be disappointed again, in the fact that whatever he mightâve had was, well, gone or taken.

Nico was sat by the Campfire, looking at its flames and generally processing some sort of things⌠What was clear was heâd come back from a Trial, and he wasnât exactly⌠used to it. While he tried to talk with the others, some sort of somber tone soaked into his voice while he did, whether it was a joke or normal conversation. Eventually some went off to do their other things, or were off to Trials. However, one person seemed to spark a bit of interest.
âHey,â he spoke with force, âhowâre you doing?â A smile that didnât quite reach his eyes spread across his mouth. âDonât think weâve talked before.â
Mary looked up from where she was sitting on the ground at the person who had addressed her. She had been biting the leather on one of her bracelets to tighten it back up around her wrist when he had spoken so the strap was still in her mouth when she acknowledged him. She let go of the strap and tilted her head, pulling her jacket sleeve back in place quickly.
âUhhh. Hi. Iâm okay for being stuck in a repeating nightmare⌠And not one of the good kinds.â She glanced off to the side sarcastically at her last comment then back up at him. âI donât think weâve met either. Who are you?â
He slightly smiled a bit more genuinely. âHah, yeah⌠it is like a new layer of hell almost, eh? Iâm Nico.â he introduced himself. âA new guy, I suppose.â he chuckled, before shifting around in his own jacket near the fire. He never really wanted to take it off, no matter if he was close to the warmth that was the Campfire or not. âHavenât, uh, been in too many Trials yet.â
Mary nodded, seeming to understand somewhat. âYeah kinda like a hell. Cept not exactly personalized like I had thought it would be. Iâm Mary by the way.â She held out a hand to him with a slight smile. âYou might want to get used to either dying or getting hooked. Itâs gonna happen quite often. Though sometimes if you get it right you can escape before the killer gets you. Or they give you the hatch.âÂ
âWell, nice to meet you... Iâm still confused about that. Why do they let you escape like that? Wouldnât they be rewarded more if they just... you know,â he laughed nervously. âIâm not sure Iâll ever get used to it, yet.â He looked back over at the fire. âBut... hey. At least we wonât have to worry about death, eh? Well, permanently, anyway. Never have to finally lose a friend...â It was clear he was still grappling with the concept of his loss of mortality, too. âItâs like someone just, bent the rules of reality here.â
