also, figured i’d mention how i had to # go off on a dude yesterday. i was in line to get pat’s autograph and one of the crew members asked me how tim was looking, i told him just absolutely radiant and that it was an otherworldly pleasure just to have stood next to him, that he spoke to me, shook my hand, etc etc. his response was, “but he can’t do signatures, huh.” ohhh my god. i had to whip out the “what if he was your granddad” analogy, you know, like hey granddad it sucks that you had two strokes but i’m PISSED you won’t play baseball with me. like, really, be respectful. treat him like a human being.
