With Elven Eyes

Bleak rays of light engulf the room as I watch over the dense forest from my favorite hideout. The warm sun is falling and a hint of decay appears in the green ranks of the forest. The rusty colors flow down into the valley to cast their noble hues over the old trees that surround the cabin. I feel a subtle breeze; a breath of life from warmer days. Thunder is rumbling in the distance. Nature’s cunning witchery beguiles me.

Beneath the deciduous trees of this forest I hunker down to calm my heart and reflect. I sense a refreshing feeling of serenity and composure, something I greatly missed this past Summer. For now I will not respond to my emails until next week (09/13). In the mean time I’m going to welcome my favorite season with open arms 🍁
