Uhhh so! Stanton was based on a typo from a comment I got on TikTok. Originally he was supposed to be a joke oc. But I began thinking more about him as a character. He’s still technically a Spamton, an Addispam, if we wanna be specific, advertising dead links on news sites.

He’s called on the phone and offered a deal, typical Spamton plot. But, instead of accepting it, he says “you have the wrong number” and hung up. And goes about his day. Unlike og spamton, he likes his monotony and routine. He doesn’t want to be a big shot.

In the universe/ plot I’m doing, a Spamton is telling him about going NEO, a symbol of freedom and high honor among other Spamtons (they don’t know about the puppet strings that attach to the Neo form) is his destiny. But… Stanton doesn’t feel that way. He’s never had a big shot era, never got popular, he’s never even met or *knows* who Tenna is.

It’s the fun thing of being thrown into a fate that isn’t your own and the existential dread that comes with it.
