The Headmistress’ office and trophy cabinet. I don’t think these were ever used. After the first season the network decided The Headmistress was too aggressive and domineering, so her appearances became limited and we didn’t get to see her office.
The masks in the cabinet were ones that she had captured by defeating other luchadores!

it’s pretty crazy how time flies fast.. it’s the end of july and august is coming, and that means the 24th anniversary of ¡Mucha Lucha! is in Aug. 17th
Being honest, i’ve been a fan of the show for 9 years (2017-present) and i haven’t stopped thinking about mucha lucha ever since, the characters, the episodes, the story, the banger theme song by chicos del barrio (not KND, sorry lol), and overall.. the mexican rep. and culture on that show is pretty great. bonus points because it’s one of the first flash animated shows on tv.
i remember the year the DTV movie (the return of el malefico) aired on Cartoon Network LA for the final time in 2017, being my first exposure to the show, and then the main show aired on tooncast in 2018 on my local cable on the very month of may (month on which i drew the very first fanart related to the show), and in that point, a huge hyperfixation began, to the point i collected the 3-issue comics and the only 2 DVD’s (Heart of Lucha & the DTV Movie), such appreciation of the show led to the creation of the ml-appreciation side blog i created in 2020 and soon i’ll be doing comics related to the show.
since 2020 i started this yearly tradition of rewatching the entirety of the show on a facebook page (now defunct) and it continued when the show arrived on HBO Max LA (+ DTV Movie), until it got taken off in June 29th of 2026 T_T (i hope the show comes back).
Maybe i should do something for the 24th anniversary, perhaps a small drawing or three, and a drawing in honor of the sequel comic of The Return of el Malefico is coming soon.
