A succession of parallel corrugated metal plates are stacked on top of each other, allowing fluids to flow freely between them. The plates are held together by tightening bolts between a frame and a plate. Gaskets on the plates are designed to operate as seals and divert fluids into different channels. The corrugation aids in the generation of fluid turbulence as well as the reduction of differential pressure. The heated fluid enters through inlet and outlet portholes on one side and exits cold on the other. When the fluids are separated into parallel streams to produce a counter current, an exchanger in the alternating channels allows this to happen. These are available in a variety of configurations.
The flow rates can be controlled by operating the exchanger twice, depending on the pressure drop between the two fluids. These heat exchangers are utilised in the dairy, food, and beverage sectors, among others.
The screw conveyor and the rotatory cylinder will both rotate at the same time to allow the centrifugal force to work on the liquid and coagulants that are supplied into the separator, with the screw conveyor moving at a little slower pace than the rotary cylinder.
The solid substance in the cylinder will be separated, and the liquid will be separated as needed. The solid matter in the screw conveyor is dehydrated and ejected after that. After separation, the liquid collected overflows the dam and is discharged.
This method is used to separate liquids from other liquids as well as liquids from solids. It has proven to be critical in the pharmaceutical, maritime, and fuel industries, among other industries.
The disc stack centrifuge is effective.
Solids and liquids are separated based on their densities in this separation. To separate the solids or liquids, the separator employs extremely high centrifugal forces. The less dense liquid phases form concentric inner layers, while the solids are pushed to the perimeter. Depending on the amount of solids to be separated, the separation process might be continuous or discontinuous.
Separators of various types
Particles, sediments, oil, organic matter, and colour are all removed by clarifiers from process liquids.
Purifiers: aid in the separation of oil from water (liquid-to-liquid/liquid-to-solid separation).
Concentrators: To separate the solid phase from the two liquid phases, which have different densities, three distinct phases are used.
Alfa Laval has revolutionised separation technology expertise, and New Ball Bearings Co. (NBBC) has been a leading alfa laval heat exchanger distributor in the country since making it available.
Atlas Copco Oil Injection Compressors
The oil-injected air product line from Atlas Copco Compressor Service, which includes everything from basic screw compressors to high-tech vertical air compressors with variable speed drives, is always pushing the boundaries of technology and energy efficiency.
Compressors made of aluminium with oil-lubricated pistons:
The single-stage oil-lubricated reciprocating compressor's intake valve feeds filtered air into both cylinders. The connecting rod, which is connected to the balanced crankshaft, propels the piston forward. With a maximum working pressure of 145 psi, the capacity ranges from 3.4 to 31.7 litres per second at 50 Hz and 8.3 to 79.8 cubic feet per minute at 60 Hz. Compressed air escapes through the outlet valve when the pressure in the cylinder surpasses 10 bars (145 psi).
A Refrigerated Air Dryer (also known as a Refrigerated Air Dryer) is a device that can be used to do the following:
Direct expansion technology is used in our high-quality FD refrigerated air dryers to remove moisture from compressed air with a consistent dew point as low as +3 °C (37.4 °F). Both water-cooled and air-cooled variants are available.
Separators and filters are the components.
The compressor line filters oils, lubricants, and fluids.
In the service industry, equipment is used.
Compressor upgrades AIRnet is a dependable pipeline network that can handle a wide range of applications.
Atlas Copco fluids and lubricants are designed to meet our stringent maintenance requirements. They safeguard your investment by allowing you to run the compressor while increasing its resale value.
An AIRScan audit evaluates how much energy is wasted, how much air is needed, how much pressure is available, how clean the air is, and how much pressure is lost in a compressed air system.
AIRScan is carried out by highly qualified energy specialists and yields a reliable analysis as well as well-founded recommendations for improving energy efficiency.
For industry, compressed air is a vital resource. It also uses a significant amount of energy. Energy savings from compressors have a significant impact on both costs and the environment, so this is a positive thing.
