The shift in the bed and the covers alerted Chloe of the other’s presence. She hardly moved however, simply turning when she noticed it was the other blonde. Without a second of hesitation, Chloe reached to pull the other android closer, placing her hand in hers and holding it between them.

The words were spoken so softly, it broke Chloe’s heart. Or rather, it presented a feeling more like damage was made to her systems. Had the girl ever really trusted anyone before? Was it easier for her to trust the first kind person she came across? Or was it harder, and thus a more celebratory occasion that Chloe had gained her trust?

Sweet words from his lips brought a sweet smile to her own. He always seemed to know exactly what to say to make her feel special, to make her feel giddy, to make her feel. Her hand came up to gently hold his cheek, her head tilted slightly to look at him more properly as if she didn’t have every angle of him memorized and stored to her memory. 

Did he truly believe in heaven and hell? Did he truly believe that he would not go to heaven? Or was it just an expression? Chloe could never be sure, but whatever he meant, she knew she felt that same way. She was not human. Even if there was an afterlife for humans, when she dies, she would not go anywhere. She would just be a machine that stopped functioning.
