The Romans were for real naming their kids shit like Boy #2
I met someone at church two weeks ago who I had never spoken to before but she walked up to me and handed me a baby (FABULOUS red hair on that child), and said, "Have you met my youngest, Septus?"
And at first my only reaction was, "That's an odd name," so I asked, "Oh, why did you call him that?"
And she said to me, "Oh, he's my seventh."
And while I was pondering this information and its implications, dear reader, she did indeed turn away, look a nearby young woman dead in the eye, and say, "Prima, have you seen Trinity?"
Big news: the week before last I met Prima, Trinity, and Setpus's brother Quintus
Recently had a run in with Hectare. She's very cute. Very bad at staying quiet during church

I hope that this is true
The Trump administration is planning to deregulate Head Start.
It just gets worse and worse, hour by hour, day by day, month by month and year after year.... And STILL no one STOPS this MONSTER from covering up his sex trafficking crimes of Raping Children!
Follow the money. $$$ 💰

A blogger called the FBI Director a "googly-eyed Kremlin b—." Kash Patel sued him for $10 million. A federal judge just threw the case out. The insult is now quoted in the ruling.
It gets better. Patel had already won this case once.
For two years, blogger Jim Stewartson had been posting on X and Substack that Patel was a "Kremlin asset," a "blatantly incompetent chud," and had helped plan January 6.
In June 2023, Patel, then a podcast-circuit Trump loyalist, sued him in Nevada.
Stewartson ignored the lawsuit. So in August 2025, the court handed Patel a default judgment worth a quarter of a million dollars. He was a winner. On paper.
Then Stewartson finally showed up in court with one argument: wrong state.
He lives in California. His posts were aimed at a national audience. Tagging Patel, who happens to live in Nevada, doesn't make a tweet Nevada's business.
Chief Judge Andrew Gordon agreed.
The court never had jurisdiction over Stewartson at all. It never had the power to award Patel a dime. Judgment vacated. Case dismissed. And in a footnote, the judge quoted the insult in full.
Understand what happened here. The top law enforcement officer in the United States spent three years on this. He demanded ten million dollars. And his legal team failed the first question on the exam: which court to file in.
The court never even reached whether the insults were false. It didn't have to. Patel's case died at the front door.
Stewartson took his victory lap on X: "I'd like to commend the judge for including 'googly-eyed Kremlin b—' in his ruling."
And he had one more message for the director. "You were also going after bloggers. But you can't even do that right."
Patel runs the FBI.
Stewartson runs a Substack.
The Substack won.
