Where's the Airlock

and...well what can I say. There is nothing going on to hold my attention. Too many characters in the Stroh storyline to make sense in the short number of minutes Duff has to tell the story and still have major time for Rusty and Gus.

I have to confess that I loved Rusty during the first two seasons - loved the building of the relationship between Sharon and Rusty. Then once Sharon adopted Rusty and he testified against Stroh, that story was really done. 

But Duff wanted to keep the actor and the character front and center. I confess I thought the Rusty and Gus storyline was forced and uninteresting when it started and now Gus has turned into this whiny, clingy, stupid, stalker-ish character that I can’t stand to watch. His scenes with Rusty make me want to scream - their dialogue is so stupid. The plot is so implausible. Gus: “Oh my, is that man in the large photograph the serial killer Phillip Stroh? The same guy who has terrorized my ex-boyfriend for years? Oh gee whiz, maybe I shouldn’t have given him all this personal information about Rusty while I took his dinner order?” Give me a break.

Provenza can usually carry even a bad scene, but tonight he lost my attention. Probably because he didn’t have Sharon or Andy to bounce dialogue off of.

Too much “by any means” thrown out there. Hint to writers, it’s not foreshadowing if you say it a dozen times an episode. Everyone knows that MC unit plans to kill Stroh.

This is such a sad way to end the series. I miss Sharon very much. I wish Duff hadn’t killed her. I wish Andy had some dialogue. I wish Tao had some dialogue. Yes, Fritz had a walk-on. Have no clue what he said. Everything seems so bland.

Was hoping Mary McDonnell would have a larger role.
