Well... I haven't done a WIP Wednesday in forever have I? And you know what else I haven't done in forever? Updated B&BT. i'm sorry pls don't hate me. In fact I actually started writing a little bit of the next chapter today so here, have some proof that I haven't actually abandoned this fic.

Her hands burned, and as furious tears gathered in her eyes, Nesta felt it spike, felt the cold in her palm suddenly grow all the more ferocious, and with a start she pulled back, tearing her hands away from Elain’s bedsheets before she could set them on fire. Something inside her seemed to crumble, some other piece of her being chipped away. It was happening more often, she thought, as she watched Elain remain entirely motionless in her bed, like she wasn’t even in the room at all. That cold fire seemed to be moulding itself to Nesta’s bones, making itself known whenever she let her emotions slip, and she never thought that she could long for something as mundane as mortality, but every time she felt the prick of power in her palms, like it wanted more than anything to be unleashed, she longed for the days before the Cauldron, before Hybern, when she was far from happy but at least everything was familiar. At least she didn’t have to worry about burning from the inside out. And with every piece of her that eroded, every inch of her it took, she wondered how much of herself she had left to give. How much of her would burn before the end.

Careers….thats tough. Let’s see….Cassian is easy, Nesta is hard. For Cass, probably a cop. As for Nesta, a bar tender. Cause I ran out of ideas.
