TPP Updates! Some ideas and updates from the past few months.
They’re seniors now lol.
For the purpose of tightening the story and well and enjoying their dynamics as high schoolers who are about to transition into young adults. I want the status quo to be established then broken and rebuilded once they move into a new environment. Both their high school lives and college lives interest me so I wanted more room to do both.
“They’re not not a club!”
a joke I’ve been saying to myself. Many students come to the gang for help dealing with whatever issue dealing with Unnaturals they have.Hoping just to expand what they do in the plot more. While the Unnatural Hunters Association handles all the big monster problems around town,The kids deal with more personal issues and overlooked mysteries around union. Still a fun monster of the week structure. They’re not a school official/affiliated group!! The principal hates them!!
Changing the beginning:
Robyn and Lucas meeting before the first day of school
Robyn is a part of the high school program at the lab and Lucas visits the lab from time to time since his dad is the director. So there’s a likely chance they’ve crossed paths at some point. Especially since they’re wouldn’t be many people their age around the lab.
Playing with the idea of Robyn not sure what she wants to do as a research project. She may have many ideas stirring but can’t pin it down exactly. The events between then and the first day or class help inform her. Since Lucas helps her it feels more like their idea project together than something Lucas inserts himself in. (Still love the Brains-Robyn Muscle-Lucas dynamic)
Small Character updates
Blake is also a new student along with Robyn.
Perhaps Robyn transferring schools in her senior year feels more suspicious (looking to do much more exploration there tbh). For Blake, since he's not a “rival” but antagonizes the gang in the beginning, I think it would be interesting if he didn’t have a preestablished relationship with four of the main characters before meeting Robyn.

I sorta flipped flopped where she should be in the high school social hierarchy. But settled on cheer captain so that her getting kicked off and losing her friends feels more weighty (also she needs to be meaner and annoying when she antagonizes the gang) Recovering mean girl….
