Just A Nerdy Artist

Pakatan Harapan - which roughly translates to Coalition of Hope, consisting of approximately 4 different opposition parties united to bring down the ruling government that is Barisan Nasional, has done the impossible and cost Barisan Nasional the ruling seat in Parliament and the government of Malaysia. Our (now former) Prime Minister is the first Prime Minister in the history of this country that didn’t step down willingly and instead has been unseated by a landslide loss to the opposition.

Pakatan Harapan which is lead by our former Prime Minister, 92 year old Tun Dr. Mahathir - who once sat at the head of the Barisan Nasional party and will now become the first ever PM in this country to hold this position two times in his life time. One of the parties that makes up Pakatan is Parti Keadilan, which is lead by Tun Mahathir’s former Deputy Prime Mister, Anwar Ibrahim for a time during his run, who then became his biggest foe for years over a major drama that ended with him incarcerated. He’s still in jail and his wife is running the party in his stead.

Can you imagine? Two people on opposite sides, arguably each other’s biggest nemesis, putting aside their grievances to start a coalition party to topple the evil government? This is honestly like some dystopian novel shit, you can’t even make this up.

That isn’t even the end of it. Anwar’s wife, Wan Azizah, who I said is head of Parti Keadilan in his stead and as such, deputy of Pakatan Harapan, is also looking to become the very first woman Deputy Prime Minister this country has ever seen.

I never thought I’d be around to witness the downfall of Barisan Nasional. Malaysia always prides itself on being a democratic country, but the government’s understanding of democratic is: ‘democratic, as long as it’s Barisan.’ And to see them lose is such a spectacular fashion after years of fucking up the country and treating their citizens like crap, it’s honestly giving me chills. This is an event of historical proportions and I’m so very proud to have been just one small part of that.

I’m also very very proud in that the fact that my state and parliament seat that I voted for was won by Pakatan.

Do you just write fanfics? Then you transport people to another land, you inspire people and you help them escape whatever they need to escape. You create amazing stories and people adore your content. You are what pushes people to work on their own stuff. You don’t just write fanfiction, you create a gateway and you help people. 

Do you just draw fanart? You inspire people to try harder with their artworks, you inspire stories, you charm people, and you are the reason people keep going through those tags and stay in the fandom. Your art is gorgeous and you are so amazing for doing it. You don’t just draw fanart, you make artworks that inspire everyone and you charm us with one picture. 

Do you just think up theories or make headcanons? You are the reason people like this so much! You look so in-depth about things and you make us think about what we watch! You expand the world far beyond what the original content does! You help us see everything we miss and make us fall in love with the world for more than just the world in the original content. You are the smartest and the most incredible people in this fandom, you see something and you work out why. You don’t just think up theories and make headcanons, you help us see more of the world and you further our love for the content, we love you and we love what you do. 

Do you just like and reblog posts? You are the reason all the people above keep doing it. Your likes and reblogs encourage people, because we’re naturally scared of rejection, but you don’t reject us, you make us feel supported and helpful. You are the reason people keep posting, keep looking, keep writing, and keep contributing. You are the sweetest and you deserve recognition. You don’t just like and reblog posts, you support us and encourage us. You let us know that what we do is being seen, and is appreciated. 

Your work isn’t forgotten. Your work isn’t bad. You are incredible. You are improving, and you are the reason people are still here. Post that story you spent ages on! Share that artwork you’re proud of! Blog about that theory or headcanon you studied for! Go ahead and like and reblog that post! You might think that it is meaningless, or that people won’t want to see it, but at least one person is going to appreciate it. At least one person will look at it and fall in love.

This post is going to rushed but I’m still shaking and it’s hard to type but I NEED people to know this

My mom just took my dog to the vet She(my dog) was(still is?) having a seizure

Last month we took my dog to the vet and they told us she had developed diabetes, they told us it was caused by the food she was eating, purina beneful. They told us that there have been many many many reports of Beneful has been causing diabetes, seizures, and even death in dogs.

We had no idea

We immediately switched her food and put her on a special diet plan for her diabetes, unfortunately the effects were already permeate.

Today at 11:20 my mom woke me up crying, I helped her carry my dog to the car (while she was still having a seizure) and watched her drive away red faced and still crying.

About a week ago I posted this.

I’ve been getting horrible messages like this in my ask for months, including:

After getting the message saying “Just go kill yourself” I was completely done dealing with this person’s horrible messages and replied with just an “Okay.” and logged off tumblr.

About a week later I logged back on with 17 messages in my ask, most of them from the anon. I scrolled down and at first when I logged off, the anon messaged me things like

This was extremely surprising to me. I thought “After all those horrible messages you sent to me for MONTHS about hating me and wanting me dead, you say ‘sorry’ and that you ‘cant be responsible for someone’s suicide’?”
