People scrambling on the streets, packing into every supermarket grabbing as much toilet paper as they can fit into their carts!

Makes you wonder if this country doesn’t have a really big problem with knowing how to wipe their asses properly!

How long does the average roll of toilet paper last the average person?

I mean, assuming kids need less?

I just started a new roll this morning.

It’s March 16. I want to see how long it takes me to go through 1 roll.

If I am the “typical” toilet paper user, then maybe we can get an idea. If you have 24 rolls of toilet paper, how long will that typically last a household?

Average use per person, times the number of people in a household.

And we all know there is going to be a BIG baby boom in about 9 months.

This is also a good time to catch up on a lot of things:

Reading - there is so much good information out there. You can learn something useful instead of watching the news and getting worked up, when you already know what to do! Stay home and read books!

Shit you need to do around the house?

Exercise - lots of videos on YouTube you can follow along with. 

Family time - board games! They’ve probably been on the shelf so long, there is little risk of any bacteria on them! Dust them off!

Meditation - I am sure we can all use a little more of this, especially now.

Web conferencing - a great way to talk to people remotely. I use Zoom.

Crazy days. I like it. Lots going on, hard to keep up, but 95% of it is all good.

Choices means quality problems.

I love what Billie Eilish said about how if she worries about what everyone / anyone else thinks she would never be able to move! She’s 100% right.

Worrying about what others think is paralyzing.

How to Work Remotely / Tools for Working Remotely

Yesterday was a good day. I was busy as hell, and I got a lot done.

Then I got to enjoy some downtime - dinner with friends, and then my San Fernando Valley Cocaine Anonymous board meeting where I serve as both the internet chair and the finance director.

The photo is blurry. Oh well! I took it fast on our way out. 

Slow start to the day today. Met Noah for breakfast. Came home and spent time playing around with this Tumblr blog. 

Oh who's Noah? You'll get to know him here. He's one of the few people in my life who's really close to me. I meet with him for breakfast. He's about to turn 27. People often think he's my son. And in many ways, he reminds me of me 20 years ago.

Time to get focused. 

The main focus of the day is getting my video scripts finished for the launch of my new Bulletproof Bookkeeping with QuickBooks Online offers.

Very hard to stay motivated today. I’m going to go relax and get some rest!

Today (now yesterday) should be interesting. After my usual Friday morning Zoom, I'm headed to Santa Monica for the day.

This morning’s Zoom is about delegating and then tracking what you’ve delegated. The best way to increase productivity is to delegate without micromanaging. 

You have to let go and trust, and the way to do that is just a little bit at a time.

The Zoom went well. Better than I thought, actually.  Everybody loves Airtable every time I demo something with it. It’s such an amazing tool! I love it. I want to marry it.

I got to Santa Monica and worked on some video scripts, and then I had a meeting at 3 pm. 

I met Jessica Mah for coffee and we had a great conversation. Among other things we talked about how Coronavirus is affecting businesses. What will businesses do if everyone at Instacart says, “fuck this I’m not going around delivering to people who might have it?” It started with Airlines, but now a lot of people are afraid to leave their homes. 

I joked with her that I hardly ever leave anyway. When my wife wants to cook something, she finds a recipe, orders the ingredients on Amazon Whole Foods, and within 2 hours she’s cooking up something really good, and really healthy.

But if that Amazon guy no longer wants to deliver?

Maybe the FCC will let Amazon have their way with their drones?

This was my first time meeting Jessica in person. I always enjoy speaking with her. She’s such a smart, cool, down to earth, and funny woman. And she’s going to hop onto my Friday Zoom on March 27! I can’t wait.

My wife didn’t want me to go. This Coronavirus thing is scary. And why the fuck did they make it one word? Am I the only one who finds that incredibly annoying?

I doubt anyone is paying attention here anymore. For some reason I feel like writing my thoughts here. Sharing publicly but not really promoting anything. Just my daily thoughts. 

I should be doing at least 2 other things right now. But I am doing this!

Tomorrow should be an interesting day. 

So am I!
