2nd year has been treating me well so far. Pharma & patho going on smoothly, microbiology on the other hand has been kicking my ass *sobs*.
Being off tumblr made me realise how much I missed it, so I'm back now.
Have taken up some new hobbies like playing sudoku, gaming & developed mild interest in makeup as well. Actually, it's becoz I've finally found my muse *wink*.

Heading back tomorrow. Had a peaceful after-exam break. Results are not out yet.
2nd proff classes start tomorrow. We'll have:
Pathology, pharmacology & microbiology as the main subjects
Along with these we also have to attend classes for FMT & Community medicine
Clinical posting would also start from this year.
A lot is gonna change but I'll learn to grow simultaneously.

(yeah, coz I'm a med student, I need to take time out for my hobbies amidst academic chaos T-T which isn't much time)
Finals done!! (almost)
So, my theory papers are done & now my practicals remain. But as I've got some time before practicals start, thought maybe I should make this post 💙
Anatomy - just okay. Paper 1 was difficult but I managed. But it left me panicked and under-confident for the rest. Paper 2 was better.
Physiology - it was fine too. Paper 1 was easier tho.
Biochemistry - Paper 1 was a total bliss. Like the easiest of them all. Paper 2 had some miscellaneous topics which I could vaguely recollect. But I've written enough to know I'll be fine.
I could at least be sure that I'll pass with decent marks in each of them 🙂↕️

One week left for the finals!!
Guess who's freaking out? Even tho I'm prepared, I need to get stressed to assure myself that it'll be fine. I guess my brain thinks freak-out = not being casual about something.
Whatever, I'm just yapping. I'm scared about physiology tho. Still I've prepared enough to know I'll be fine.

Day by day, finals feel less overwhelming as the preparation progresses. But the thought that I won't be a freshman anymore is somewhat sad. I'll miss the freshman me, curious, unaware & full of hope.
I'm so gonna get onto a reading marathon, my tbr has more books than the ones I've read.

Well, finally back at home & i guess I've rested a little too much, so I got some work done today. Feels great !!
Our dorm in-charge is a really cruel lady. Like, why does she always act like we are her enemies or something??
Please, it's just not fair, being in junior year & having everyone be so unsupportive 😭

I took a day off today coz I need to revise, there's so much left & I've my freaking PRE-FINALS NEXT WEEK!!!
Okay, now that being said, another reason is it's been raining since past 2 days. And the roads are flooded & I have a cold.

Today I realised that I’m not afraid of failing.
My worst fear is doing my best and it not being enough. To the point that if I’m not doing perfectly academically (or close to it) I literally get sick and I get really bad mentally. As if my body and my mind wanted to give me excuses for failing or getting a lower grade. Because if my best is not enough I’m hopeless, right? Cause what more can I do?
And this is just nonsense. Cause we’re not static: we’re always evolving. If my best wasn’t enough this time, I’m gonna work on it and it’s going to better the next time. And so on until I get what I want.
This really took a lot of weight off my shoulders.
