i always found it kinda disappointing that relativityfalls aus tend to stick wayyy too close to the stan-mabel ford-dipper parallels instead of going off what mabel would do, with her popular rf design being stan's but skirt and more colourful skdkdjjfgj (especially since we got a whole backstory of stan's mr mystery costume with both the fez and suit being his shitty dad's)
plus folks trying to stick too close to the show's canon zodiac when they can play around with the symbols more, especially when rf designs always try slapping on the fez symbol on kid stan when its from a secret society his dad is in lol (not to mention that the show's zodiac symbols were literally picked at random in a rush because they had to replace the six fingered hand in the opening since another show had the same imagery)

They succeed, have about enough, with time to spare, Gideon/Robbie steal their trash bags from them
They have no candy, Lights are starting to go out

Not only have they lost their loot, but now the first lights are going out, It's getting late

i do wonder about the tendency of artists to give sea grunk!stan a red and white striped shirt like the one he wore as a 10 y/o, esp considering that he'd be stuck wearing a lifejacket (more of a lifecorset really since it only goes around his waist lol) which would cover the pattern up most of the time
but i'm also kinda eh about it cos stan's old geezer fashion tends to be wearing a flashy button up over a plain inner shirt (although i still lose it at stan's choice of arctic wear being a single shirt and a trenchcoat, my guy is gonna freeze to death.....)

for some reason i used to hc the rv as a rental but considering its stan-coded bumper sticks (that must've been on there for a while since stan covers the fishing one up with a new one) i'm pretty sure stan brought it years ago
(and there's also duct tape which is stan's chosen method of fixing things up)
he genuinely adores bumper stickers a lot too, it's almost endearing if you ignore his misogyny striking yet again
and there's stan updating his bumper stickers after overhearing ford constantly being called a silver fox, they're identical so that title clearly applies to him too 😤 and him covering up the fishing one since that dream of sailing had been thoroughly squashed at the time
and he probably loves the irony of being paid by others who are advertising the shack for him too
but stan being a bumper stick enthusiast is ironic cos his car doesn't actually have any? meanwhile soos' truck is plastered with them
+ the interior of the rv with its decorations and color palette is very mystery shack-esque to me plus there's diamond shapes which are also all over the shack too
:T spent a month slowly reading a murder mystery while knowing the trick used the whole time cos i saw another story that used that same trick and was pretty clearly inspired by the one im reading lmao
