I just discovered @captain-angler, and wow—their art is the best "meal" I've ever had, haha. They have such a cute and polished style; I love it!

It was recommended to me, and damn, I loved it. I also noticed the resemblance between Kapka and Anna [in terms of coloring].

So, I quickly sketched. I'm not sure if the drawing is perfect, but I feel like the idea comes across! I hope the creator likes it and that I get to see more of their work someday.

Here’s Anna—or at least, her character sheet (or an attempt at one). She’s quite lovely, and I end up drawing her a lot—especially because she has a body type I haven't drawn in ages [I love creating different body types, but I’d never drawn slender ones before]. So, here she is.

When she’s calm, she mostly acts like a homemaker—a good wife or girlfriend to Alekséi. She works making perfumes and makeup at a small factory, a life she started after she and Alekséi fled the hellish place they came from. Generally, she is calm, serious, and kind to others.

However, she sometimes suffers mental breakdowns where she becomes dominant, terrible, and manipulative; she plays the victim and cries a lot [in reality, she is a victim, but she exploits that fact to manipulate Alekséi]. She goes so far as to hurt both herself and Alekséi just to ensure he doesn't set boundaries in their "relationship."

When she isn't having these episodes, she tends to be incredibly loving and sweet toward Alekséi and everyone else.

She loathes the thought of her parents; she feels she no longer needs them, especially now that she and Alekséi have a better life far away from them.

He simply wanted to save her, but in the end, he wound up trapped in another nightmare alongside his sister.

Trigger Warning.

A small project I’ve had in mind for a while—distinct from another one that’s more romantic, this one is more psychological and traumatic.

It’s inspired by Flowers in the Attic and Miss Violence, as well as various artists who explore these themes.

Just a reminder: I haven’t drawn in six years and have only recently started practicing again, so I hope you’ll be patient with me—or at least enjoy it a little.

I’m going to start drawing and posting artwork related to the story. If you are particularly sensitive to these topics, I beg you not to look at it; the content is intense.

I hope you like it. I’ll try to handle the subject matter respectfully, as I’ve been through some of these things myself [I’ve moved past them—or something like that; it wasn’t the worst thing ever, but it was pretty bad].

I’ll try to include some comedy or lighter moments so it doesn’t become terribly traumatic or suffocating.

My sister bought a new pencil and I can finally draw a little! I'm practicing using Krita. I gave up on Krita so many times before, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. I hope I can draw more soon! I have to keep practicing. It's been a long time since I last drew, and my style has declined a bit, but I hope to come back with better drawings!
