First Thoughts:

This album is a clear continuation of the direction the band has been headed in since 2021s For Those That Wish To Exist. The modern metalcore sound of the record has been heavily influenced by the contributions of music producer Jordan Fish. While there are some callbacks to previous records, this is overall a progression rather than a regression into any old sounds. Between this and some lyrical callouts to those who disapprove of the bands direction, it is obvious that the band is holding steady in their stance that this is the direction they intend to continue going.
