Day 2 of the daily drawing challenge without any reference.
It doesn't mean I lack inspiration or that I haven't seen any art during the day. It's just that I don't look at anything while creating this; I rely solely on my imagination. This process helps me understand how much I still need to learn and what I should focus on next.
I try to keep a schedule where I warm up, practice poses, and learn a bit of anatomy. It usually takes me about 30 minutes to an hour each day. I don’t make it too hard on myself so I can stick with it even when I’m feeling down and don’t want to do anything. It’s really helpful. I’m not sure about other artists, but for me, my art can be stunning at times and pretty rough at others, and I can’t quite figure out why. Maybe that’s just how it goes. But I’ve definitely improved compared to five years ago, so I’ll keep studying while I prepare for my next comic.
I didn’t become an artist to beg for likes and followers on social media. I became an artist because I love this journey of learning, creating, and sometimes failing until I find success. So instead of just doing trendy stuff for likes, I prefer to be myself and share my journey because it’s not about the likes. It’s about the people who want to join me on this journey, and nothing makes me happier than spreading a little positivity and energy to others.
I’ll share all my good and bad art in this challenge. If you want, you can join in and share your art with me. I’d be so excited to see others doing this alongside me. And if not, you can just watch me grow with each piece of art every day.
So stay tuned!
