At some point in recent years, you suffered what felt to you like a 'death', whether creative, social, emotional, spiritual or even literal, and you've been reborn. Confidentiality was one of the vital parts of her work, everything is supposed to be left in secrecy before making it public, but is no lie that everyone around the world knew about the Raccoon City incident, or at least a vast majority, is better to leave it buried in the past. Her name might be just a combination of letters for anyone else, but those who still work for Umbrella and have a pinch of memory, are familiar with the name Sherry Birkin, her last name for sure is enough to give them the idea of the story she carries in her healed skin.

“My boss?” It left her almost breathless not having any sort of notification about additions to their mission, Sherry wasn’t directly informed or contacted from HQ about this. Reached for the pocket of her pants, the white crack on the screen and the pitch black was enough for her to knowledge that in no means a notification would have come recently. When did this happen exactly? 

Catches for a moment the crimson lips of the woman, she appeared to be smiling for herself, the smoke doesn’t allow her exactly to tell what expression she’s doing as she speaks. At least her information seems valid. “If what you say is true, then this squadron won’t be an issue for us.” The innocence of her eyes is darkened by the sudden doubts and outcomes, if she’s lying to her face, then the consequences will be lethal.

the girl is nervous and double checks her small phone. a scrying device of black glass and wires, but there is no message. derek doesn’t know a thing about her, hasn’t known for months what she’s been up to behind his back. he thought she was under his thumb but the real her that he had shattered so completely slipped through the cracks while she slept in his bed. she remembers everything. 

“ if you’d rather go alone, you can but it can be frankly, very dangerous. “ she takes a few tentative steps around the place, her hair rustling as she hits a shattered window and wind whistles in. the silvered sunlight brings only a frigid chill. there is no warmth here. “ mercenaries are not known for engaging in conversations with outsiders-- do you speak their language? “
