"this feels like home"

still cant believe i made this account in 7th/8th grade...damn i was insecure about my identity back then ,, i made a tumblr because i didnt have anybody irl to talk to about the things i was feeling about my sexuality, my shifting views on the world, literally everything. i was shocked to find that within a few months, i had gained several thousand followers and found a community on here. sure it was panic! at the disco and it was all stupid memes, but really, to this day, 4 years later, there are some people i’ve met on here that i will never forget. shortly after i quit tumblr i went through one of the worst periods of my life as i entered high school. im doing way better now and, honestly, i never thought this day would come.

im not trying to be a motivational speaker or anything or like ,,,,, tell you “it gets better” cus i went through the worst years of my life to get to this point and i know being told “it gets better” really doesnt mean anything...like im talking crying in bed all day, never doing shit, being so mentally ill that i cant even shower or take care of myself right. it seems like another reality, looking at where i am now.
