“This is interesting. I’ll take a look later” He said putting the papers on the table next to him.

☁┊❝uh… no? again, NOT how the world works,❞ the blonde rolled her eyes, resting both hands on her hips. ❝fight me, hale. your point is invalid.❞

 “ i  tried  that  but  you  shot  me  down ,  remember . ”  he  raises  a  pointed  brow  at  her ,  arms  crossing  over  his  chest .

☁┊❝fine, i will,❞ she replied, eyes shifting from icy blue to fire engine red in less than half of a second, color darkening as moments passed. she shoved him again, this time using the burst of strength added with her status as an alpha, though currently packless. ❝i told you to back off,❞

 she  is  stronger  than  he  thought  she  would  be  so  of  course  derek  cannot  help  but  feel  his  body  lift  and  frame  roll  off  her .  he  is  quick  to  rose  to  his  feet  and  crouch  with  a  playful  snarl .  “ so ,  this  is  how  it’s  going  to  be ? ”

“Come take a look” He said taking her hand and pulling it lightly to the table.

☁┊❝well, uh, thanks. i guess. i’m going to take that as a compliment, because i was having a good day,❞ she shrugged. ❝least i’m not a cliché, right?❞

               And I TRIED to hold these secrets inside me,                

☁┊❝what’s that supposed to even MEAN, hale? pick a mood to be in, you can’t just switch all of a sudden. that’s not how it works,❞ she replied, regaining her balance as she stood and brushed off her jeans. 

 “ who  says  i  pick  a  mood .  girls  do  it  all  the  time  and  you  all  manage  to  survive .  why  can’t  i  do  the  same ? ”  he  arches  a  brow .  he  thinks  he  has  a  valid  point .
