Woohoo! I finally arrived at the Kitaro Nishida Museum of Philosophy after a long nine-hour drive from Tohoku. The extreme fatigue I feel is a result of the long journey I undertook alone. I’m thrilled to see this small house, which was originally constructed by the philosopher Kitaro Nishida as his study in Kyoto and has since been relocated to the museum.

One morning, while walking alongside the castle canal, a delightful, tiny bird named Harcyon leaped in front of me. He was so small that my ordinary camera couldn't capture him properly, yet this moment felt incredibly special. It's a reminder of the beauty and unexpected encounters that nature can bring into our lives.

Siskin - Tarin - マヒワ

The violin has sparked my child's interest for the past couple of years, especially since we began our new life in a different city. I believe exploring various forms of self-expression is important, so we decided to start a musical journey. This was her first violin lesson, and it was wonderful to witness her joy as she embraced this new experience. 🎶

Let’s begin! The invitations for the upcoming exhibition at the Kitaro Nishida Museum of Philosophy are ready to be sent out, which is exciting progress. I’m also pleased to have received the Instax refills, even though their cost is on the rise. I find that starting my day by taking photos with my Instax or Polaroid camera sets a positive tone. It serves as a creative warm-up for me, similar to how jogging or practicing sun salutations prepares the body for the day ahead. There's something uniquely rewarding about using an analog product that you can physically engage with. Even though it may come at a higher price, I find that the investment truly enhances my motivation and enthusiasm for taking genuine photographs.
