Theory 1: Jax panic attack flashbacks are symbolic of his real life

My theory on the driving flashbacks Jax was having in ep 7 is that they are meant to be more symbolic than just at face value.

Whether they are real or false memories, Caine we know was messing with his head and propelling his vulnerable unstable state. What if he picked and chose those memories out of their context to create dread?

I personally think Jax before the circus had a very rough life and likely was on his own given how he behaves and his trust issues. We see these road go on but we never see the destination, what if that’s because there’s none?

Jax is between 2 choices and no rational brain cells to spend. Caine was likely manipulating his state to get the outcome that he wanted. With these memories and what they would symbolize to Jax, he’s basically saying “ If you leave here, where will you go?”

Caine likely took advantage of this and that’s why Jax desperately chose the red button. Even if he wasn’t fully aware in what he was doing, their was some truth to what he felt. it reveals a deeper dread about the idea of returning to reality. Why return to a life that bad? That’s the truth to Jax. He is alone in the world.

Theory 2: Able was the suprise abstraction.

Now this all hinges on if you believe Able is really human anyway. If he is then I think Caine was definitely altering his mind to make him say those things in the end of the episode

I gathered this from someone in a TikTok comment section but I really liked what they said.

When NPCs are deleted by Caine , we know they poof into a cloud of confetti. When Able was deleted, he glitched out screaming and left black dust behind him. Much like I dunno, Abstraction???

Also can we talk bout how after Caine admitted to messing with their minds, but “ doesn’t do it too much cause it would be bad”, kinger, who can’t remember in the light Name drops the first abstraction after him saying that??? This clearly shows that Caine is the cause of the abstractions, and it’s specifically from pushing them to far.

(I also think Caine is purposely causing Kingers forgetfulness, because Kinger is the one most likely to be able to free them. What was it that Kinger was going to tell Pomni?)

I think this means that Able is human one way or another, but he was definitely being mind altered by Caine. There was just a way in which he talked that make him stick out unaturally. He was so expository, telling now showing and just feeding the information to them. He was also introduced in an akward manner too. It was almost like it were scripted or rehearsed.

Not saying anything he was may not hold some truth to it, but whatever truth it does hold is incomplete. Caine is definitely prisoner to his own programming, and cut of by his programmers he has nothing left but to fill in the blanks
