see with people who have schizo(phrenia) it isn’t just hallucinations and breakdowns, we have a hard time telling whats real and whats fake. Almost every interaction I have goes something like this. Friend/Family Member: dude, are you okay? Me: ...can i touch your face? Friend/Family Member: why? Me: I just need to make sure that you’re real. Friend/Family Member: uhm, okay? but why would you need to know? you know im real, don’t you? Me: No, i don’t know if you’re real, so this is just helping me out.
