Okay listen up, long post alert! For those who can't read more than 2 lines: 90% HAND-DRAWN BY ME, took forever, drawing a few more sketches and taking a FAT BREAK!

Now to the lore of making this masterpiece:

I really tried to draw Cosmo like... actual Cosmo. Redrew her from the original sketch and honestly? She still turned out kinda goofy :'(

Y'all notice the style drift? 💀 Since I drew this in breaks over 2 whole months, Tails & Cosmo were drawn in one style with a pencil, and then 2 months later I came back and threw Vector and Espio in completely different styles 🤦‍♂️ I suffered over this decision for weeks and well... HERE IS THE UNHINGED RESULT! (Which gave birth to sketch 201 with Vector’s ultimate galaxy-brain plan 🤣)

AI art generator pissed me off again, so I literally grabbed a real paintbrush, squeezed out gouache and painted the background MYSELF like a true Chad. Couldn't find decent Sonic X backgrounds anywhere so I said fine, I'll do it myself. (Might photoshop like 10 of these backgrounds and release them for free, who knows... did anyone even read this far?? hello??)

Anyway, 2 weeks of heavy grind and I am OFFICIALLY DEAD 💀 (and autumn is coming, send help). Finishing a couple more sketches and then taking a break!

(yes, we are complaining and ranting here HAHAHAH)

This fking file weighs 117 MB in memory. My poor IbisPaintX takes 30 whole seconds just to open it... 😭

It somehow captured that warm, retro anime feeling that I love so much. The sky features real cloud photos that I caught myself, bringing a touch of reality to their quiet world.
