I teared up reading A Letter to My Mother That She Will Never Read By Ocean Vuong today
Last night, while reading: 'His voice sounded like a dreamers.' I'm going to use it in an upcoming story
Duncan asked me what my quarter-life crisis was, now that I've lived 25 years
On my way home from uni, I bumped into four people. Two were at the same traffic light, all three of us in a line on our bikes. The other two were at Readings. One, my poetry tutor from last semester, he was genuinely in the poetry section. The other, my ex. Serendipitous—she had been on my mind, I was going to text her a few days ago but stopped myself. First time bumping into each other since ending things almost eight months ago.
Yesterday three serendipitous moments happened, today I experienced two, I can't explain the second in words correctly but I wanted something to happen and the person felt it and asked me for what I wanted to ask them for. It made me think, why did I stop myself from asking?
I wrote down: Authority is not inherently unethical
I took this picture of a root escaping the cobblestone before Duncan and I got on our bikes
