i think that instead of them looking "less-human", frisk would look more and more like a corpse. humanity does not equal kindness and benevolence, as the monsters show us, so i want to try a different approach. the symbolism i imagined is that this would convey the death of their compassion. the loss of pacifism.

i do interpret this concept to be more metaphorical, but if we are going with frisk's body literally changing, maybe LOVE has some weird physical affect on humans? idk.

near the end of his life, flowey looks at frisk and remembers chara. what their dead body looked like, the confusion on why they didn't turn to dust, the horror as he watched them decay.

but chara died with their kindness intact, meanwhile frisk's kindness died when the monsters did.
