Current Pronouns: she/her/lo (or 🇨🇫/🇨🇫self if you're cool with that)
Intro Post!
Hi! I'm Sage/Star, but you can also call me Astro, Stolace, or C.A.R. I'm also fine with any nicknames you can come up with, as long as they're spinoffs of my other names!
• I'm an Alterhuman, and that's what this blog will be mainly focused on!
• My default pronouns are she/her, but can change depending on what kintype(s) I’m shifted as or connected to most. I’m intersex and transfem, specifically hyperfem!
• I'm 18 years old — my birthday is August 21st
• I’m Autistic and attribute this as the main source of my alterhumanity. I also have BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) and traits of other PDs. Our mental health sideblog is @borderline-dalm !
• I am a therian, placekin, fictionkin, and alterhuman in general. I have a large hoard of identities which I'll list down below.
• I am the head of a plurality, but you’ll mostly just see me around. Collectively, we use they/them pronouns. We are mixed-origin and pro-endo, but we aren't really concerned about our own origin or if we are disordered or not.

Before You Follow (BYF) :
• I am 18 now, but I’m fine to interact with anyone. I will read any profile I interact with to ensure they’re comfortable first, but interaction is up to your discretion !
• I don't mind if 18+ blogs interact in a SFW manner, as long as your blog isn't entirely/mostly NSFW
• I am against gatekeeping and exclusion. This includes policing others’ labels and identities. Everyone has their own right to the way they define themselves!
I support every type of alterhuman identity. This includes holotheres, physical therians, lycan/zoanthropes, choicekin, factkin, factives, placekin, and the list goes on!
• I welcome and support every kind of system, plurality, and multiplicity, including endos. I am part of a mixed-origin plurality myself.
I support people with all mental health disorders, including personality disorders. I do not believe in “(x)pd abuse”.
• I do not usually post or repost anything political on this blog, unless it would be in reference to relevant placekin topics. I do reblog things associated with human rights and environmental concerns.
• I don't participate in proship or radqueer discourse on this blog. I’m neither of these, but I am transCanadian, if that matters to you.
• I have no DNI! I can’t stop anyone from making their first interaction with me. If I strongly disagree with your views or you make me uncomfortable, I’ll just use the block button :P

Today we went school shopping, and every year we like to go to Hot Topic for our clothes!! C:
A lot of us dress alternative, but we have very distinct styles between us. Today Basse got a chance to pick out some outfits for the first time and develop her sense of style ^_^/
I wasn’t actually able to find what her specific style is called, but she enjoys those decorative hoodies with the crosses on them, baggy jeans, studded accessories, and those decorative tees you would find at hard rock. (Let us know if you have any idea what the name for this style might be!!)
She dresses differently than any of us have before, but I really like her style and we’re excited to try it out C: I want all of us to have a turn wearing the things we enjoy UuU
Hey guys! I don’t typically do these call-to-action posts because I don’t like to pressure anyone, so I guess this is just to spread awareness about something I care about.
Fair warning that it’s a bit saddening. If you don’t want to read posts like this, don’t feel pressured to read this one !
For those of you who are interested in what’s going on:
Someone whose music I enjoy (named “my head is empty”) recently lost the rights to all of their ambient songs on YouTube and potentially other platforms as well.
If you’ve ever heard the song “i was only temporary”, this is the artist who made it.
The music distributor they were working with (Kurate, who runs the “dreamscape” channel featuring several different artists’ ambient music) non-consensually sold the rights to these songs for some amount of money in the 7-figure range, and this artist got none of it. The thumbnails and titles of their songs are also being changed by this new corporation (Create Music Group) without any of their permission.
The artist had no say in any of this, and its possible (though I’m not sure!) that other artists featured on the dreamscape channel are facing a similar tragedy.
They were less upset about the money, and more about the fact that all of the comments left on their videos over the years are going to be deleted. Since most of these songs are ambient and have a sadder atmosphere, people with mental health struggles gathered here to support each other and make their own community. Luckily, after seeing how upset “my head is empty” was about this, someone made an archive of all of these comments on a custom-made website.
Still, these comments are going to be deleted on the official youtube website, and the artist has no say in any of this.
Here is a link to the video they made going over all of this: https://youtu.be/Lgy-nHA518c?is=DiRkBQylYxs7Y53C
(Fair warning that it gets very emotional)
And here is a link to the petition they made if you want to sign it (no pressure here!): https://www.change.org/p/help-my-head-is-empty-reclaim-the-rights-to-i-was-only-temporary-from-kurate-cmg
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day. I know this was more of a sad post, so make sure to give yourself some positivity too!
sorry for not posting a lot in the past few weeks, I’ve been lacking motivation and some of us (in our system) have been dealing with some heavier mental health issues. Now that we’ve been to therapy about it, things are looking to be on the right track!
I’ve also just been kinda out of ideas of what to post :^ But seeing so many other placekins reach out to me recently has really made me happy and inspired me to post more about it! Maybe ill make a part 2 of the viviterms >:3

as a fellow placekin, i think the idea of using the flag emojis of the country you kin is like. a really super dope idea. sadly the place that i kin isn’t a sovereign independent country so i can’t do so myself, but i just want to let you know that 🇨🇫self pronouns are so cool. idea of the century. i don’t know why i find that specifically to be so cool but. yeah its cool
Omg hello fellow placekin!! It’s so nice seeing others on here ^w^
And thank you!! C: I’ve been using 🇨🇫 pronouns for a while now, but I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone actually use them for me :^ Probably because when I started using them, I wasn’t in alterhuman spaces and only came back recently. So thank you for the kind words, it means a lot to me ^_^/
I'm sorry that the same kinda thing didn’t work out for you, but if you wanted cool neopronouns to match your kin, I’m sure there’s no shortage of them out there!
One of my favorite things to do as a placekin is go onto google earth and look at the satellite images of myself.
If any of you enjoy GeoGuessr like I do, you’ll know that google maps streetview is also a great option for many places if you want a first person perspective. Sadly, there is no google streetview coverage for myself, so panoramas and satellite images are the next best thing!
Been wondering if we should re-come out to our family as plural :^
Back in around 2020 or so, we first discovered our systemhood and came out to our parents about it. They were somewhat supportive, but I think they had the wrong idea. My dad told me, “our (as in both of my parents) goal for you is to help your alters merge back together with you.” I can’t remember what he said verbatim, but that was the just of it. We weren’t very happy about this, as you can imagine, but thats a story for another day.
But it makes me hesitant to try again. Maybe a year or so after we came out as plural, all the fakeclaiming and stigma online got to us. We figured we weren’t a real, valid system, so we declared ourselves no longer plural, and some headmates stopped showing up for the next few years.
I don’t think my family ever forgot about this, but I just stopped bringing it up and told them it “wasn’t a thing anymore” if they asked me about it. Even my sister kinda knew, so recently when I was explaining DID one day after my psych class, she said, “didn’t you used to have something like that?”
Now that we’ve grown past the online bullying and reclaimed our plural identity, we’ve been a lot happier. But we’ve also realized how many tough or confusing situations we get into that could be fixed if my family just knew what was going on. They would know why Cougar is always stand-offish and doesn’t speak to anyone, why Histri suddenly starts being loud and dramatic sometimes when we’re in public, why some days Femme is obsessed with pink and femenine clothing and the next day we aren’t really feeling it, why Fawn randomly freezes up and loses the ability to speak in seemingly normal situations.
I want what's best for us. I certainly don’t want someone else stepping in to try and “cure” us of our systemhood, since we don’t really see it like that. But I also think we’re at a point where it would be okay to open up a bit. Sure, we can certainly defend ourselves if things took a wrong turn, but honestly I think we’ll be okay.

Does anyone have experience with being ecosystem-kin? I'm kin-questioning the ecosystem of a fish tank.
As in I am the tank itself, the filtration, the lights, the CO2 moderation system, the substrate, I'm the non living parts of the tank and somewhat the living parts of it? I have ideas as to what species are in the tank specifically, and its like how bacteria lives inside your gut and it's you, but you don't consider it when you think about yourself.
I haven't had a chance to properly formulate the thought. It actually might not be a true kin at all but closer to a longing for a hearthome, my lake.
I am like a month late to this post lol, but this is super cool!! :D
I’m placekin, and I actually relate to most things you said a ton. I’m a country — I’m the land and the rivers and the skies. The plants are a part of me, kind of like the equivalent of hair. It’s still part of my body, but its only one of many parts that come together to make a whole. I relate to the bacteria thing too, with my people and animals and anything else living and moving. They’re a part of you, but you’re also more like a sanctuary to them than being them.
When I was first questioning myself as a placekin, I thought I was a lot of other places as well. Turns out they were more like heart-types or heart homes to me than an identity as them. I only ended up being kin of one place, which is the Central African Republic. Its funny looking at this through a placekin lens, because hearthomes vs kins can actually be tricky to differentiate.
Anywho, I guess I’m trying to say that ecosystems and places have a lot of complex parts to them, meaning there’s a ton of ways your identity can take form. There’s no right or wrong answer. Maybe something like abiotickin (kin of all the nonliving parts of an ecosystem) might be a worth a look into?
Saw the live action Moana today and was really charmed by the animism (e.g. land and water being living entities) they portrayed there C: Being placekin makes me appreciate indigenous culture even more ^w^/

A lot of things are starting to make a tonnn more sense ever since we found out about our subsystem
I owe it all to the plural comic makers on this website that helped us realize switching isn’t always a concrete thing (e.g. A is here -> A is gone, B is here).
For us, it’s more like feeling like somebody else with a different personality and sense of self, but the transition can be much smoother than how a lot of sources depict it!
These gentle, 400-pound giants are splashing back from the brink of extinction.
Green sea turtles have been an iconic endangered species since the 1980s, mostly due to bycatch in fishing nets and taking adults and eggs for food. I have core childhood memories of watching Steve Irwin talk about sea turtle conservation in front of a beach full of nesting green sea turtles.
After 45 years of conservation efforts, their population now meets the IUCN criteria for Least Concern rather than Endangered.
For a species with such a slow life history (it takes green sea turtles decades to reach sexual maturity) and a nearly global population, this is a Really Big Deal. This is the kind of long term conservation victory that many of the amazing humans who started working on green sea turtle conservation back in the 80s didn't live to see.
Just because something isn't fixed right away doesn't mean it won't ever be fixed. Just because the work is slow doesn't mean it isn't worth doing.
