The reason why i said in the post of the fanart that i tried to make him look asian is because i know that is his race, but is not always easy to translate caricaturistic features into realism. More so when the race of the person you are trying to portray is other than yours since is hard to try faces with features diferent from what you are used to see in the mirror.

Of course i understand your concern since i am a poc too, but the point of the comments goes to the fact that we often see fanarts of bnha with general western features, hence my attemp to paint him like he should look in a more realistic style and wanting to see it (which by the way is really hard)

When i said i tried to make him look asian is because i tried to make him look like he should look in real life. That's all.

i also did not owe you anything before posting about this. this is my blog hello?? it’s cool or whatever that you know he’s actually asian, but your response to that commenter did not reflect that at all - you should have clarified from the start that he’s not being drawn as an asian, but that he’s being drawn how he is in canon. i also have issues with how you’re accepting praise for the BARE MINIMUM. you can write on and on about how difficult it is to draw people of color, but i actually don’t care. stop complaining about it. either practice and draw us or just quit art.
