Can we talk about Silva and Q and how different they are despite their similarities
How Silva just puts everything in the team where she's in, atleast it was like this until Horizon. With every new team she commited fully, tried so hard to find her place there, got rid of whatever kept her from fitting in. She even sacrificed her own morals for Bhood. He wasn't on board with Bhood plans but went with it anyway, he wasn't even expecting to find any connections here, but he did. He felt accepted, felt like he finally belonged. And yet nothing helps, it's always something out of her control that breaks the team. People leave, people go inactive, people betray. She left Friendship once, maybe twice, and maybe Friendship is the only team where she had some kind of weight, control. And they should've had the same weight with Bhood, but no, Nezo left and found a way to break team built on bindings. Because of lack of respect he says, respect that Silva had always given him.
And Q. Q just couldnt't do it. Trauma runs too deep, paranoia is so loud, they can't help themselves but to be scared that they'll end up alone again. That people will leave them. For Mugm, but also for any other reason. Even Alrey wasn't 100% safe to her. Maybe it's because he was open about his thoughts that we couldn't hear until recent events, maybe not. But even her D1 could not overpower her fears
Silva wanted to be right about keeping teams, he was ready to lose himself just to let it happen. Q wanted it too, but, but even more she wanted to be right that everyone will leave him. That her paranoia makes sense. And she hated it and she hated herself for it and she fought it as much as she could because its not true she never wanted her friends to turn on her, she never wanted to doubt them. but she can never suppress it enough. And one time she was open about it. It proved her right. Wyll left, and Alrey left, and they blamed him for it
Silva wanted to be right. Q wanted to be wrong.
And now Silva gave up completely. It doesn't matter that Rylan still wants to reconnect, it doesn't matter that Nemvevo seems genuinely interested in him and having him on their team. What's the point anymore if it's all going to end anyway. They're tired, they don't have it in them to care. Just a sight of hope in someone else's eyes makes them want to puke. So they left. He's going to bury himself in the sanctuary he's building and is going to isolate himself completely. He's done
But Quakitus, despite everything what happened to her, despite every betrayal and every punch in the gut she got, still stands. He went soulsearching like Alrey asked, and no matter what everyone say, I think she found what she wanted. He found new allies in SOS who share his new goal, and this goal is not even new, it's been here the whole time. Just wasn't his first priority, too bad Wyll doesn't care for things like that
And even more, they still reach out to people. Still willing to trust, to give chances. And it's hard for her, but she's still willing to try. And he's so, so kind to Stormz. Even when he lashed out she listened, and she stayed. Quakitus gave Stormz decency that was denied to him by his own team
When Silva was talking to Alrey, and Alrey called Q passionless, Silva later said that it was surprising to hear, because to his memory Quakitus was the most ambitious on the team. And it's still true. Q is ambitious, he is ready to go against her own trauma again and again until she founds something. He is passionate, and his passion is people and their connections. Wyll can't understand it, he can't comprehend valuing relationship so much. Alrey can't understand it, he's too careless for that. They both still think that there is no hope for her, that she's a lost cause, that will drift aimlessly until the end of the season. They will probably never change their opinion. But it doesn't matter anymore, because they will not break their will
