it's been a joy to work on this project; my first physical zine i got to hold! 💚 and we've donated over 1,200 dollars to PCRF! 🧡 i'm not super active in the attack on titan fandom anymore, but it was a big part of my formative art experience & the art produced by this fandom overall is excellent.

left side: warm world, levi in colder colors (hange in the background) right side: cold world, warm levihan

see the saturated outlines on everything, the main stylization in this piece? all traced by hand because the photoshop tool wasn't working with my vision. a moment of silence for my wrist please (since recovered) then applause for one of photoshop's default pencil brushes (carried most of this piece). also there's a tree in every other zine piece i've made; i just keep doing this to myself

taking passable photos of drawings in metallic frames & behind glass was the most difficult part of this 🏞️🌳⭐

i'm a terrible hoarder when it comes to cheap photo frames. these were 30 czk per piece; that's like one small soda from a vending machine.

an attractive picture enticing you to visit the north cascades national park in washington state, easy to reverse search (christie fitzpatrick, 2022) 🍁 vs 🍁 an often repurposed pinterest classic i finally sourced: putorana plateau, krasnoyarsk krai, siberia. i hope (kirill uyutnov, 2014)

i like to make fun of old man madara sitting in a cave, but that's just to distract myself from how devastating those obito flashbacks are.

in pain, covered in bandages, missing an arm, confronted by a creepy man who claims to be a legendary rogue ninja and talks about debts and stealing his sharingan... he just wants to go home!!!

measure and mark the actual picture size, because whatever the frame is promising? always bold lies; 5 minutes

scroll pinterest for a reference, check if it's even a real photo, get it in the biggest resolution available; 20 minutes

procrastinate; 120+ minutes

decide on an art medium; 15 minutes

blank out while watching youtube, follow the reference while inserting your own ✨vibe✨; ???

pat yourself on the back, document your success, cut it out, frame it, offload it on a family member (or two) as a birthday gift
