Illustrated postcard of the Russian Imperial Family.
Olga and Tatiana were done dirty, but everyone else looks pretty good! The perspective on Olga's head is off and Tatiana would be the LAST one of them to slouch like that.
Justice for Tatiana 🫠😭

Beautiful Girls Mashka, Natsya, and Tanechka 💖💖💖
“I laugh so hard, when I read people saying that if grand duchess Anastasia hadn’t die she would marry Paul of Greece or Frederick IX of Denmark. I don’t think I she would marry any of those guys, because she had a free soul. She was very different from her sisters and also she was an adventurous girl and she wanted to have fun and she didn’t want to have a serious life!! And marrying those guys would have prevented her from doing what she wanted, in my opinion I don’t think she ever wanted to be a queen or thought about being a queen 👑.” - Text & Image Submitted by abigaaal

“I think there will hardly ever again be a pair of sisters equal to Empress Maria Feodorovna and Queen Alexandra of the United Kingdom, in glamor and grandeur. They were among the top European royalty of their time.” - Submitted by cenacevedo15
“The pink diamond diadem is one of the Romanovs’ most beautiful tiaras. The Romanovs certainly had the finest jewellery among the European monarchies.” - Submitted by cenacevedo15

“Princess Margaret of Connaught stroking the face of the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna, it was such a lovely gesture. It is a pity that the two departed early in life.” - Submitted by cenacevedo15
“Imagine how amazing it must have been to get to know the princess, Victoria Mountbatten, Prince Philip was lucky enough to get along with her (despite his sad separation from his mother, Alice of Battenberg). It must have been amazing to hear the stories of the days of Queen Victoria and the Romanovs told by your grandmother. Prince Philip described his grandmother as an encyclopedia, Victoria was an intelligent woman. Too bad that throughout his life he had to witness several tragic deaths involving his family.” - Submitted by Anonymous
“I think this question about Alpha Man is a lot of nonsense. But for me a representative of this serious category was Tsar Alexander III of Russia, who possessed abnormal physical strength and did not like to be contradicted. The current men who call themselves alpha on Instagram would cringe in front of the Tsar.” - Submitted by Anonymous
“Princess Victoria of Wales was one of the first loves of Tsar Nicholas II. If they had been married (with the permission of the Russian Orthodox Church), would King George V have done anything to save his favorite sister from execution?” - Submitted by Anonymous
This couple would never be a couple at all, first of all it is cute when Nicholas II liked her he said he liked Victoria for her seriousness, thoroughness, and "unfeminine mind.", I mean Victoria just has that royal thing that makes her a good consort plus her personality to others in which not only Nicholas II fell for but also his Brother Grand Duke Michael and uncle Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich.
But we have to take note that they are first cousins, Nicholas himself was not really into First cousin marriages the examples are Princess Beatrice of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha with his brother Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich, Grand Duke Kyrill and Princess Victoria Melita. Besides Victoria was very devoted to her family I doubt that she will say yes, she had plenty of suitors for her hand in marriage, Another candidate to seek Victoria's hand in marriage was her cousin, Crown Prince Christian of Denmark, who later became King Christian X. The princess rejected him, much to the disappointment of her parents. Yet another contender for marriage was the Portuguese king Carlos I. He demanded that Victoria accept the Catholic faith, which did not sit well with her parents. The 5th Earl of Rosebery also attempted to win her attention, in vain.
It was a cute young love for the Tsarevich but in the end Princess Alix is the true love of the Emperor
Which of the Romanov sisters and Hesse sisters would you say you are most like ?
Sorry if this took a while to answer I did assignments
I feel like I somewhat have similarities of each of OT.
1. Olga- It shocks me to realize how similar we are.We have similarities when it comes to music I can also determine the note, rhythm, melody etc. Of the certain instrument playedYou know when you have that certain gift it's really vibe full 😉. Secondly we have similarities of being easily tempered like I understand her with this, because being the eldest is sometimes pressuring it just triggers your level of patience as you grow up but of course it won't always get the better of you at certain moments. Another one is that we have the same MBTI which is INFJ although I know this might be quite inaccurate since she never took the test herself, just by reading her diaries and info from her friends and family, I catch a glimpse of similarities
2.Tatiana- I was quite the leader of the band when I was younger this helped me develop my sense of leadership in school and sometimes at home, although Tatiana was not the eldest sibling like me , being upright and calculating is quite my nature toward my brothers and schoolmates( I am the only daughter btw).
For the Hesse sister it would be
1.Princess Irene- "Irene, raised to believe in a proper Victorian code of behaviour, was easily shocked by what she saw as immorality." This really matches up my personality I too is raised in a structure form of behavior like having to do this and that , learn this and that, what wrong is this what is right is that, like pretty much the moral way of life so I too easily get sensitive at people's decisions at certain moments.
2. Princess Alix- She was really and introvert something obviously relate to but what I find much more in common is our personal spaces , like she doesn't like people to get in-between her and her daughters just like me with my brothers I am rather a family person that deeply has more expressiveness to them and more quite outside.
Thanks you 👍😊

“I think Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna was the Romanov who most adapted to Russian post-revolution life. Although without the wealth she had before, Olga managed to live a relatively happy life with her family in Denmark and Canada. I think the last two years of her life were sad because of her husband Nikolai’s death, they were very attached.” - Submitted by Anonymous
Best Grand Duchess who lived
Tsar Nicholas II of Russia......no context here heheh
