My Whispered Illusions

Daddy and I had an early Christmas today. He spoiled me with shirts and a blanket and locally made honey and made me laugh with a huge container of cheese balls... But my favorite thing is the cross. It's something I can wear all the time that is from him. It makes me feel like I am always carrying him with me. And I needed that. I have days where I miss him dearly and this will help anchor me. Or at least I think it will.

I had a rough day yesterday.

My anxiety was through the roof and I was just a rotten brat.

Giving him grief because we don't get to spend a lot of time together...

I thought I was going to see him after work and that fell through.

He did surprise me and bring me coffee at work. And I went and sat with him in his truck and got some snuggles and lots of kisses. I pouted when I had to go back in. But it helped to see him and touch him.

And then as I was making my way home he randomly called me because he wanted to say hi (It was really because he missed me and he was still trying to make up for not getting to see me after work).
