alright yeah I only watched the first episode of Players because i saw a clip of young Mark Hoffman in drag but this is tragic. He had a child, a son, this whole time and never knew. He missed everything, his first words, first time walking, almost all of his childhood. And not just that but the mom told the kid that Alphonse is dead, essentially cutting out any chance of him ever stepping up and getting involved in the kidâs life. And she has a fiancĂŠe and that fiancĂŠe is so good to her and so good to the kid, better than Alphonse could ever be and he knows it. Alphonse knows that he isnât good enough for this family. He knows that he will not change, either because he wonât or because he canât only time will tell. He has to go on as a parolee working for the FBI all the while knowing that thereâs a family, a child, out there that he would do anything to deserve. And yet he goes on because there is nothing else he can do.
