it will be my first year celebrating valentine’s day as a happily, open witch so i thought i would make a post on what other witches can do to celebrate that are just a lost and curious as i am. most of these activities will be self love activities or little diy activities you can plan to do with your witch friends ((:.

some valentine’s activities include:

- milk bath rituals.

- a bath ritual.

- self love jar.

- self love sachet .

- love sachet.

- love salt bowl.

- love candle spells.

- incorporate aphrodite & venus in these works to encourage beauty, love, & sexuality 🌸

it’s valentine’s so why not ....

make sigils out of loved ones names.

that way, when you are doing protection spells, love spells, manifestations etc. you can

look at the sigils,

during spell work, while away, etc.

draw it on the candle being burned

when using candles take a tack or a nail & carve the sigil into the candle. when carving the sigils focus on your intent of the candle & the sigil.

write them on specific jars / sachets made to effect that person 💘

Enjoy a pot of crystals filled with a variety of raw & tumbled crystals & a summary of their properties ✨

- place a crystal on top of your deck.

i personally like to work with a cut smoky quartz or a clear quartz, & selenite alongside my scolecite pendulum.

- sage \ palo santo them.

cleanse them with smoke. play relaxing music in the background. consider this their meditation.

- incense them.

- as simple as it sounds, blow on your cards

- place your deck of cards under the full moon.

- use a singing bowl.

i want to get into singing bowls🥺✨ they sound so beautiful! try it out! this could be another form of their meditation ✨.

- place them in salt .

put your deck of cards in a ziplock bag & bury them in salt.

- reorder & reshuffle your deck(s].

begin with the major arcana 0-22 then follow with the minor arcana.

Here is what you need:

A dozen ORGANIC roses , just the petals

A stove

A pot

Water

From the looks of it it is fairly easy. All you do is wash the roses, bring water to a boil, let the petals steep in it, & voila. Basically you make rose tea. You want to boil the rose petals until they lose their color.

Benefits of rose water:

- It can help maintain oily skin.

- Balances the skin's pH balance.

- Keeps your skin moisturized.

- It reduces redness with its anti inflammatory benefits.

- Helps fight acne.

- The smell of rose water can help you fall asleep.

- The smell can help you feel relaxed.

- It is an antibacterial, meaning it can help with wounds.

- Helps regenerate your skin cells.

- It can be used to help fight wrinkles.

Make-up remover:

- a few drops of coconut oil

- rose water

- on a cotton pad\wash cloth\etc.

Directions:

Add the coconut oil & rose water together on the wash cloth or cotton ball and cleanse your face thoroughly.

Acne:

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp rose water

Directions:

Mix together and apply to acne. Leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash it off with fresh water.
