And as you explore the world sometimes Prompto will ask to stop at scenic locations or tourist traps or whatnot and bam you've got a few more. And if you do this every time you save, you end up with quite a collection.

Anyways, fast forward to the end of the game, when you, the main character, are about to die. You know this. You are marching stubbornly to your own martyrdom, with no hope of survival. And the main character turns. And asks to see Prompto's photo collection.

As we wish FFXV a Happy 9th Anniversary today, we would like to take a moment to look to the future.

November 29, 2026 will mark the ten year anniversary of the release of Final Fantasy XV. 

Ten years is an important measure of the passage of time by most standards, but it’s an especially significant milestone in the FFXV Fandom. Regardless of when we as fans jumped into the Regalia with the boys and embarked on an adventure with them, the characters of the world of Eos touched our souls in a profound way.

Ten years is the amount of time Noctis was trapped in the crystal, preparing to make the ultimate sacrifice. The road to dawn was a long one and we as fans were privileged to come along for the ride, with all of the joys and heartache that it entailed.
