hoichoi has made a documentary about her story named I am Joyita which started streaming from 26th January 2020.

2020 is going to be an excellent choice for entertainment lovers. Some of the famous regional OTT platforms and National OTT platforms have recently launched their new line ups for 2020. Hoichoi have recently released their all-time favorite and most-watched web series Byomkesh. In its fifth season, the series is directed by Saumik Halder who never done any Byomkesh series before. In the first time of directing Byomkesh, Saumik Halder has done a tremendous job by merging two stories. The story is based on two stories by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s Khnuji Khnuji Nari and Dushtochakra. The story is set in the backdrop of The Great Bengal Famine of 1943. When Britain is participating in the second world war and the black-marketing by the traders the rice market of Bengal suffered a tremendous crisis. Byomkesh is very disturbed witnessing thousands of poor people dying in the city. The cast remains the same as before except Suprobhat Das played the role of Ajit. The central character of the series ‘Byomkesh’ played by Anirban Bhattacharya, Ridhima Ghosh reprised the role of ‘Satyabati’.   On the other Hand Queen the MX original web series is a historic one. The series is based on the ‘Queen’ Novel which is written by Anita Sivakumaran which is loosely based on the life original story of let Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. The series was directed by Gautham Menon and Prasath Murugesan. The series starring Ramya Krishnan who is known for her excellent performance in Bahubali. She played the role of Sivagami Devi AKA the mother of Bahubali. The series started streaming on MX player from 14th December 2019.
