Fauna is constantly singing for no reason. ✔

Not constantly, but she will often sing or hum while working. It makes time go by a lot faster!

Fauna's favourite subject in school was Math. 〰️

Her favorite subject was actually language arts! She'd been enrolled in classes in Garlemald when she was younger thanks to her grandparents and loved writing poems and stories. Fauna even wrote her own opera once!

Fauna is awful with technology and doesn't know how to use a smart phone. ✔

YES. The only tech that she really knows how to use is simple magitek things like heaters, lights and common appliances. Anything else is just met with confusion.

Fauna has a diary that they write in with a glittery gel pen. ✔

If they had glitter pens in XIV Land, then yes, absolutely. She does use colored inks in her journals though.

Fauna has one, very simple word that they cannot figure out how to pronounce. ✔

Each and every time Quartz needed to board one, be it for business or pleasure, she wished with all her heart that the journey would take longer than intended. It was almost surreal to soar through the clouds, parting them with little effort and having nothing save for metal, wood and a simple sheet of glass separating you and the vast emptiness that stretched far into the horizon. To be able to simply float among a sea of white, drifting along with the breeze without a direction in mind must feel rather liberating.

To pair that with the sight of fireworks blooming around them sounded like something you'd read in a fairy tale. There was absolutely no way she'd miss the chance to see something like that for herself.

"In Alexandria, firework displays would always align with important events and birthdays of the royal family, so I'm sure you can imagine just now much effort went into making them memorable experiences. Nowadays the only fireworks you see are those used before matches at one of our more popular entertainment venues."

And those were minuscule compared to the shows back in the kingdom's heyday.

"There was this one time..." Quartz let out a quiet laugh, recalling a memory that never failed to bring a smile to her face.
