If youâre voting in the California Democratic primaryâŠ
and youâre registered as no party preference, do NOT accept a âprovisional ballotâ. Those almost never get counted.
You need to ask for a crossover ballot.
The majority of these independent voters will go for Bernie so nice job DNC trying to rig this.
BOOST THIS.
They aren't rigging it, these are the rules. Just learn the damn rules.

Peanut! I call him Peanut, too. The thing is, I think it was me that invented it. But he would never admit that!
Iâm tired of accountability processes and hearing excuse after excuse for keeping predators around in our communities. Especially in a place where our legal system thrives on slut-shaming, victim blaming and ultimate silencing of sexual assault victims. I fully, 100% support anyoneâs choice to seek personal justice against their attackers because more often than not that itâs the only justice they will get. And sometimes, just sometimes, itâs the only way these creeps will ever learn.
Finn âIâm a stormtrooperâ who was âraised to do one thingâ throws away his weapon in the face of his enemy in order to run to help his friend
and then picks up lukeâs lightsaber, the embodiment of the jedi and the fight for the light, to fight off kyleâs evil ass, the head of the organization he tried to run away from and which abused him since he was a child.
He literally throws away the weapon he was given by the first order, he sheds away that assigned identity, and makes the choice to fight for the light side even though heâs terrified for himself and for rey. I think this is the very moment where he leaves FN-2187, the soldier, behind and becomes Finn, the man.
I mean what kind of symbolism.
Haha...Kyle.

Sexism Is An Exhausting Fight.
It is, at minimum, a weekly occurrence that I get explosively mad at institutionalized sexism, specifically in the bike industry. Â It is an enveloping reality, that I navigate sexism everyday of my life in one form or another. Â When I got into riding bikes and racing, It was really a little haven for me to be able to bond with other woman and a lot of like-minded men and have some time to remove myself from that reality. However, as Iâve entrenched myself further into the industry and the good-olâ fight for equality, my haven is often interrupted by assholes on the internet and beyond bringing me down. This week specifically, it was the news from the British Cycling Team and Shane Sutton, and the follow up from certain members of the international cycling community *cough cough* PETTER KENNAUGH, that really got my blood pressure up.Â
Common concerns peons have about woman racing:
Women donât deserve the same prize money because we donât attract the same revenue.
Women donât deserve the same prize money because our races are often shorter than the mens races.
Women donât deserve prize money because weâre women.Â
Women canât race a longer course because weâre women.
Women need womenâs specific bikes. IE, a menâs bike that is pink with shittier parts on it for the same price as then âmensâ version.
Women canât possibly compete at the same level as men because we are emotional, menstruating, weak-willed catty individuals.Â
Iâm really only going to touch on 1-3 here because I feel the rest of it shouldnât need to be explained. As far as point 4 is concerned, If we are going to talk out of context about the genetics/evolution/physiology between men and woman in sports, lets just pay Cheetahs the most.Â
Prize money in racing.  Itâs a hot topic and a sensitive one.  Also a topic that has come up a lot on my twitter recently. I truly feel like a lot of this disconnect comes from the sentiment âthis is how its always been.â  In Mountain Bikes and most CX races Iâve taken part of, itâs never been a question.  Prize money is the same for the Pro races. Fact. In road and some CX races, I feel like we have a lot of promoters who donât want to pay equal because they never have had to before. The womenâs fields were small or didnât exist years ago.  Now womenâs racing is flourishing, fields are large, we have a lot more presence.Â
As far as attracting the same revenue, I look to womanâs soccer and in bikes, the hour record most recently attempted by Evelyn Stevens. If promotors and marketers give us the platform to stand on and the coverage to shine, we will.Â
This little exchange was from yesterday and I went on a rampage retweeting a bunch of sexist garbage. Where would I like that money to come from? In most instances, I think offering equal prize money is the onus of the promotor. Donât host a race you cant afford. If you are offering prize money based on reg numbers though, my only comment is A rising tide raises all ships. Â If you have $2000 to split between fields on race day, start at the top and equal it out between the men and woman. Each of those fields get $500 and you can divvy out the rest between your Masters fields that inevitably have lower reg numbers than the cat4 womanâs field. Also save yourself some money and donât give prize money to cat4-5s of any gender. Â Give them medals, they donât deserve money yet.Â
Kind of like your tax money, you as an individual, shouldnât/dont have a say how your reg fee is spent. If you are a shitty man and go to register for a race and say âi donât want my reg money going to womenâs racing because i wont watch itâ youre an asshole.  And thats basically what Fuck-Face McGee above was getting at. Â
My participation in a race shouldnât be defined by money, especially when my cost to race is the same as the men in my category. My effort while racing, even if my course is shorter, is no less than my male counter-parts. My cost to race, maintain my equipment, and live as a human being is the same as a man. Saying that my financial worth as an athlete begins and ends on a race course is short-sighted and insanely selfish. âSexistâ is the word Iâm looking for.Â
The be-all and end-all of this, is donât be sexist. We all have a moral obligation as members of the same species to not be dicks. And honestly, if you see some shit at a race fucking say something. Â Call a dude out. Â You see a dude giving a beginner woman a hard time during a race or heckling inappropriately on the side lines, STAND UP TO THEM. Donât let them be shitty without repercussion. You are not an ally if you dismiss oppression to a cause that doesnât effect you.Â
In closing, Women are great.Â
if there is one thing i have internalized deep down to the center of my soul its the idea that âwomen arent as fast as men, and thats just factâ
like i dont understand why fastest = best to begin with. but whatever.
Men are faster than women, but it has nothing to do with biology. Part of male privilege is being able to pursue your athletic dreams with the encouragement of society as opposed to the burdens of social stigma.
Ultimately however, unless you're competing in a hunger games battle royale type of race, it really doesn't matter.
WOWâŠâŠ..wayyy too many white people trying sO damn hard to play at being âoppressedâ or offended with BeyoncĂ© over âBeckyâ
I mean, itâs deeper than that, but if youâre white and donât understand or you canât relate, thereâs no law saying that you must make ridiculously uninformed statements. Itâs not illegal for you to just be quiet and enjoy watching a groundbreaking music video or listening to the music
Only one presidential candidate is attending this Asian-American forum
The Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies Leadership Network invited all 5 candidates to their upcoming forum. Only one RSVP-ed yes. President Barack Obama is stated to deliver the keynote. "We are a vote that is becoming increasingly powerful,â California Rep. Judy Chu, a Democrat, told Reuters. âIn this election we are the swing vote in the swing states.â Chu will introduce the candidate at the event.
Things like this are the reason why people of color don't support Bernie. Like, he got arrested 40 years ago then disappeared to whitesville where he did nothing for minority communities. We can say what we want about the Clinton's, and most of it will be true. But what we can't do is act like they don't at least pretend to care about people of color.

I donât think that bike is njs legal.
The likelihood of the pic being properly sourced is like 50/50. It could be anything.
A lot of racers still compete in non njs races. I was just trying to be funny.
