She’s not insecure of herself or her relationship with eren, but rather just sensitive

At first she reacts to being jealous of seeing another girl be clingy with eren by being mad and intruding their interaction

But when they’re back home she crumbles into his arms crying because she feels awful about everything and just wants to hide in his arms away from the world

He would pull her to straddle his lap, lay her head on his chest and run his hand through her hair and rub her back while she cries it out

Then he would press so many kisses on her head and affirmations letting her know that he loves and cares for her so much and that nothing can get in between them

He’d grab her chin between his pointer and thumb, pulling her head up to kiss her lips softly

Eren would give her the softest kisses on her lips before cupping her face to wipe her tears with his thumbs

Then he would tickle her until she’s a giggly mess in his arms clinging at him to stop him from tickling her by kissing him!!! 🫀

She probably goes back to their their apartment after a stressful class just to cuddle into his chest, and she curls up into him like a baby because she just wants to drown in his scent and warmth.

I think in private he tends to coo at her like a baby and sweet talk to her to comfort her, calling her gentle names like like “my baby” and “my sweet girl” until she’s calm

When she’s done crying in his chest; he presses kisses all over her head and soothes her by saying “atta girl miki, let it all out baby.”

If he’s going for a while, he pulls his cosiest biggest shirt ever and drowns it in his perfume before putting it on her and leaving her with a kiss to her forehead

And once he’s back home he picks her up and rocks her in his arms, a hand under her bottom gripping thighs and the other rubbing soothing circles on her back.

He will kiss her all over her neck, nuzzling his nose behind her ear, and whispering to her how much he missed her and loves her.

It’s so easy for him to fall apart into her arms the minute he sees her and tbeyre alone together

She lays against the headboard and lets him lay on her chest, stroking his hair gently

If they’re outside, she cups his cheeks and places kisses on his cheeks, forehead, nose and lips to calm him down

When he’s angry she straddles his laps, cups his nape to tug at the hair there and pull his head back, massaging his nape and also giving her access to his neck

She places kisses all over his neck because she knows how it completely melts him and how docile he gets under her

When he’s angry; she places kisses behind his ear, whispering reassuring words to him and placing more kisses to comfort him

When he’s sleepy, she lets him lay his head on her thighs and use her lap as a pillow, during night time if he’s still upset she tucks him in her chest, and his head under her chin and holds him tight

If Eren is crying, she lets him squash her as he straddles her lap and burries himself in her shoulder like a big baby!! letting out everything he’s bottling up while he squeezes her like a stress toy

When eren is being moody and sassy and bratty all day, he likes to lay his head between mikasa’s thighs and have her squeeze his head so she can be his noise cancelling thigh/headphones LOL

He’s so fucking moody only she can take away his anger…

I also headcanon that they have special non sx intimacy moments where they like to lay together with no clothing on for skin to skin contact, just to feel every inch of each others warmth and let their hearts beat together with no barriers in between 🫀

They are such a codependent couple that whenever you see one of them, the other is always besides them

Matter of fact, if anyone sees one of them and the other isn’t with them they’re worried

Eren and mikasa live together which doesn’t take anyone by surprise, because these two couldn’t handle the one month they weren’t roommates with each other

They always ended up in each others apartment until they just decided to live together

When people invite them somewhere, they don’t bother going out of their way to invite them both because as long as you invite eren, mikasa is coming with him and vice versa

They share everything. Utensils, straws, food, clothes, bags, etc because their souls intertwined to the point where they became one

When they were living apart for a while, their rooms were FULL of each others stuff, to the point where it was impossible to know if the room was eren’s or mikasa’s since all their stuff were all over each others place

They themselves are always all over each other. Their hands are never not linked, if they’re sitting together their hips are touching, if they’re napping on the couches their heads are on top of each other

They both refuse to eat unless they’re together, because they want to make sure the other is eating well and is healthy

Whenever they’re apart, they’re always texting each other, and people get annoyed hearing the constant pings but they’re so clingy that they can’t bear not hear from each other for a long time

They’re so clingy from day one that people gave up trying to hit on them, or wait for them to break up because they can tell these two are going to be together forever

If a girl at university approaches him his first words to her are “oh I’m waiting for my girlfriend. No I don’t have notes because I need to go see my girlfriend. No I can’t help you because I’m going home to my girlfriend.“

Whenever eren is invited anywhere, he pulls up with mikasa. If the person inviting insists that no plus one’s allowed… he’s not coming

He loves to wait for her after her classes to pick her up and then hold her cause he missed her

He always carries her bags for her no matter what they look like, no matter how heavy or small they are, because he wants to

People will catch him with the most glittery sparkle pink soft fluffy bag on his left shoulder… and you guessed it his other hand is laced with mikasa

Eren insists on feeding her, so her favourite snacks are always ready on him for him to give her

When they go to a party he always keeps an eye on her but gives her space to have fun

If a guy approaches her weird, he strides there with confidence and holds her waist from behind, before pulling her to his chest and taking over the conversation till the guy goes away

His entire social media is full of her. Pictures of her, candidate pictures of her, selfies with her, her name and @ in his bio, highlights of her, etc

He doesn’t play about her at all. If anyone says anything bad or weird about her in front of him he’s ready to get into physical fights to defend her name

Eren hates being away from her :[ if she has longer classes and he’s done, he tends to join her classes and sit beside her just to be around her

To eren, PDA is important. You’ll always catch him either with a hand on her lower back, on her thigh, on her shoulders, on her waist, on her tummy, on her face, on her head… honestly anywhere he can reach he just has to keep holding her

He loves her so much!! Everyone knows he’s all hers and his heart is in her palm and his entire being is for her 🫀

They would be the type of couple that’s so jealous and possessive and disgusting with PDA just to prove to everyone that they are each others property.

I think they’ve both have gotten into physical fights to ward off people off of each other, for example eren feeding his fist to any guy who dares look at Mikasa weirdly. I think mikasa has a bit self control but has definitely tried squaring up and needed Sasha and Armin to hold her back from getting into an actual fight…

But also I think everyone prays they stay together for a long time cause they deserve each other and need to keep each other away from society LOL

She becomes so calm and quite around him, because she trusts and loves him so much that she can fully relax and depend on him- her safe place and home🫀

Lets him hold her hand or her waist and trusts him to guide her around wherever he wants without her asking or wondering

If they’re eating together and he brings a spoon to her mouth to feed her, she opens without thinking

Falls asleep very quick when he’s beside her cause she feels so safe and secure she can just close her eyes and lean on him to rest

When they’re home and he’s undressing her, she goes on autopilot mode and lets him take care of her

If they’re in a social setting, she just hugs his arm to her chest and rest her head on his shoulder and lets him do all the talking

He holds her hand and takes her wherever, and she doesn’t even need to think or use her head just blindly trusts him and follows him

Hands him random things she’s carrying without thinking or asking because she knows he will hold them for her

If she’s overwhelmed, she goes straight to his chest and hides her face there, letting him hold her and take her worries away

I think this would make Eren happy cause for the longest time he wanted to prove he’s strong enough to take care of her, and that he didn’t need her to take care of him all the time. And now that he can, he loves that she lets him care for her in every way.

They move in together at 18, engaged by 19, married by 20. He’s so in love with everything about her, he loves taking care of her and loving her. He loves when she needs him, when she cries to him, when she relies on him, when she depends on him. He just loves the fact that he can love her properly this time, and let her love him how she had always wanted to as well in this lifetime.

He can’t even take his hands off of her, that’s his woman, his baby, his love, and his heart. He loves his mikasa so much and he won’t let anything pull them apart this lifetime 🫀

If they’re carpooling with friends? She can sit on his lap to make space for others.

They’re having a picnic? She can lay her back against his chest and use him as a backrest.

She’s tired? He can pick her up and carry her around.

The minute he sees her he’s immediately locking his lips with hers to kiss her hard, grabbing her jaw between his hands and cupping her cheeks.

Brushes her bangs away from her face when she’s talking so he can see her eyes better

Keeps a hand on her lower back when they’re in a crowded area and guides her

Tucks her hair behind her ears when she’s eating beside him

Holds her head to his chest so she can hear his heartbeat when she’s panicked or upset

When she asks for anything he replies with “Yes ma’am”

Holds her from behind and grips her waist tightly when she’s deep in thoughts to ground her

Picks her up in a princess carry when she’s drunk to take her to their home

Grips her thigh soothingly under the table when they’re sitting together

Ensures they’re always touching no matter what- even if it’s just their knees touching

Piggy rides her when she’s hurt or injured or tired and runs a thumb over her thighs from where he’s gripping them to soothe her

Grips her chin to pull her head up and smothers her in neck kisses when she’s feeling jealous to reassure her
